“My fiancé and I dined here tonight and we were more than impressed! The ambiance was incredible, and provided a romantic setting for our date night. Right off the bat, the service was top tier, and our fantastic waitress Emily provided us with extensive knowledge and awesome suggestions. I had the organic salmon entree and my fiancé had the veal parmesan. We definitely know why the veal is called the best in the city! The quality and taste were outstanding. The owner Michael was very courteous and made sure that we were doing well throughout our entire meal. This is a gem in Bronxville and a must visit! Thank you Tredici Social - we will be back!!!“

“Rosie’s is a top notch restaurant! Best Italian In Bronxville area. Food is delicious but i need to mention other incredible things about this place. I’ve done dining in a couple of times but I do pick up more often. And let me tell you, they put much love and care on how they pack our food so it doesn’t leak and also stays warm longer. The quantity of food (at least the pastas I’ve ordered) is also something to mention. It’s enough to be shared with someone else or having leftovers the next day. “Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. “As a creature of habit, when I find something I like, I keep ordering it forever and ever. And as an ex-pat, born-and-raised Italian, pizza is akin to religion and a great tasting pizza is akin to experiencing the Beatific Vision! But enough with the Catholic references! Let’s talk about P&M’s pizza! I have been ordering my usual extra-large pie (half “margherita” and the other half “salsiccia”) since 2008! Over the years, I got to know the owner (who personally makes the pies) and he goes to great lengths to find the best quality ingredients for his pizzas. And you can taste the difference in the flavor of the tomato sauce, the mozzarella cheese, the olive oil, the herbs. As all Italians know, a good pizza begins with the the base—the dough or crust—that must be a perfect balance of crispy-and-chewy, and P&M’s nails it each and every time!

The pie I ordered yesterday was $23 plus tax, (unheard of!!!) which was delivered to my doorstep in less than 20 minutes (please tip your delivery guy) together with a coupon. After you collect 9 coupons, your 10th extra-large, “margherita” pizza is free!!! In 16 years of ordering from P&M, I’ve enjoyed quite a number of free pizzas too!

P&M Classic Pizza and Restaurant is THE place if you want to experience the best pizza in Hamilton Heights!

PS. I didn’t give a star-review for the category “atmosphere” because in 16 years, I’ve only ordered for delivery (I told you I’m a creature of habit).

The meatballs are so tender with great flavor, chicken picatta was fresh filling, tiramisu wad the best with a cappuccino. They gave us a free Sambucha (the orange one is good). “Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! We started with special mixed seafood in 2 large clam shells.
Dining partner had softshell crab (2) over linguini and he said it was the best softshell crab prep he ever had.
I had Chilean Sea Bass in a lobster bisque sauce with sweet potato crust over spinach.
Finished the meal with tartufo. Rich dark chocolate shell.

Starting with Jose, who had everything under complete control to the most delicious food that the guests are still talking about! We had a mozzarella and tomato appetizer, penne vodka, chicken martini (which was unbelievably delicious) and salmon. Even the bread and biscotti were great! “I can’t believe we waited so long to try this neighborhood spot! It’s a chilly November evening , and we got seats at the bar. Such an inviting and intimate setting! The vibe was perfect for a couple’s night out. The food was even better than expected. We ordered the pasta bolognese and the meatball pizza. Both were excellent. The ricotta cheesecake was exceptional! Super creamy and dense with a burnt sugar crust on top. Served with ice cream and berries. Definitely Briciola is now at the top of our list!“

My friend and I both had the minestrone soup and the fennel salad with shrimp, expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. Capping off our experience, our reservation was intentionally set for 6:30 PM - in August 2024, Saturday dnnertime entertainment is jazz standards in chord melody form expertly played by Raphael Silverman on a gorgeous Gibson Johnny Smith archtop guitar through a Henrikson Bud Six amp. I'm a huge fan of their Chicken and Veal Marsala and Francese...I decided to try their Shrimp Francese for a change of pace. Sure, Ive had many meals at many Italian restaurants in the "world famous Little Italy" sections of NY City...I have to honestly say, this was the absolute BEST dish Ive ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Coupled with the Linguine with REAL White Clam Sauce, which in itself was phenomenal, as well as a salad with Gorgonzola cheese that was spectacular. I had the pleasure of returning again just a few short weeks later, and politely told the waitress (who's service was fabulous) thay I didnt even need a menu....
Modern has been around for a LONG TIME. Originally, you felt like you were sitting in the basement of a friend's home, and the food was just beyond incredible. Now, in the newer location the only thing thats changed is the size. The food has gotten even better (tough to believe since it already was EXCELLENT). The great service, the way they make you feel like family, and the food continues to be incredible....Wherever you are, if you're planning on being near New Rochelle....Modern is DEFINITELY a place you cant pass by, so ENJOY !!!!!!
