“The food from the appetizer( Grilled Octopus) to our pasta entrees was excellent. The noise level was loud and piped in music, which was really not appropriate in a nice restaurant. Service was good. However, they get a little bit of a red mark for not bringing bread, butter, and salt and pepper without having to ask for it. Overall, it was a decent experience, and I would consider going back in the future.“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. We started with special mixed seafood in 2 large clam shells.
Dining partner had softshell crab (2) over linguini and he said it was the best softshell crab prep he ever had.
I had Chilean Sea Bass in a lobster bisque sauce with sweet potato crust over spinach.
Finished the meal with tartufo. Rich dark chocolate shell.
The chef has a flare for bringing out flavors with his combinations.“

The meatballs are so tender with great flavor, chicken picatta was fresh filling, tiramisu wad the best with a cappuccino. They gave us a free Sambucha (the orange one is good). The owner/manager, Walter introduced himself and sat at our table after dinner to ask us how we were doing etc..

Starting with Jose, who had everything under complete control to the most delicious food that the guests are still talking about! We had a mozzarella and tomato appetizer, penne vodka, chicken martini (which was unbelievably delicious) and salmon. Even the bread and biscotti were great! Red and white sangria was a nice touch to the meal. The wait staff went above and beyond to anticipate our needs. DEFINITELY 5 STARS!!“

My friend and I both had the minestrone soup and the fennel salad with shrimp, expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. Capping off our experience, our reservation was intentionally set for 6:30 PM - in August 2024, Saturday dnnertime entertainment is jazz standards in chord melody form expertly played by Raphael Silverman on a gorgeous Gibson Johnny Smith archtop guitar through a Henrikson Bud Six amp. Nice clean tone comes through very well in this setting .“

Coupled with the Linguine with REAL White Clam Sauce, which in itself was phenomenal, as well as a salad with Gorgonzola cheese that was spectacular. Modern has been around for a LONG TIME. Originally, you felt like you were sitting in the basement of a friend's home, and the food was just beyond incredible. Now, in the newer location the only thing thats changed is the size. The food has gotten even better (tough to believe since it already was EXCELLENT). The great service, the way they make you feel like family, and the food continues to be incredible....Wherever you are, if you're planning on being near New Rochelle....Modern is DEFINITELY a place you cant pass by, so ENJOY !!!!!!

We ordered from the special prix fixe menu that had so many great choices, it was hard to choose.
We settled on the scallops over polenta and the spring rolls with teryaki to start, and the panko horseradish flounder and grilled shrimp salad. Desert was the poached pear with raspberry sorbet.
Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The wait staff is friendly and extremely efficient, and just make dining there such a terrific experience!“

“There are times when you go out for a meal, and you just don’t see anything on the menu that seems compelling. You won’t have that problem with Dino’s Pizzeria. The menu is insanely huge with a variety of food sure to please everyone. In fact, if you wanted to print the online menu, it would chew up 42 pieces of paper. Dino’s has an extremely large variety of pizzas, as well as appetizers, homemade soups, salads, side orders, calzones, hot and cold wedges, homemade buns, wraps and heroes, gyros, pasta, baked pasta, veal, chicken, eggplant, sausages shrimp and salmon.
Our group of six ordered online and received the food in a very timely manner. No one had any complaints about the food – only accolades.
In particular, the meatball parmigiana wedge had an ample amount of sliced meatballs with cheese and sauce on a tasty roll. The meatballs were well seasoned and had a great mouth texture. The grilled chicken Caesar wrap and calzone were also excellent. The pizza was perfectly cooked and had high-quality cheese. The pizza dough was chewy so if you like your pizza crisp you may want to choose another item.
The standout menu item to me was the Bella Salad Wrap which had a symphony of ingredients which resulted in an extraordinary taste experience. Along with the grilled chicken, the Bella Wrap ingredients included baby spinach, red onions, eggplant, Kalamata olives, fresh mozzarella, shaved Parmesan and roasted red pepper, tossed in a balsamic glaze.
After your first order from Dino’s, you will probably want to repeat the experience.“

“The food here is excellent. Started with the artichokes and burrata, super fresh, super flavorful. Perfect sized dishes to start. We then had the mussels special and eggplant dish. Both fabulous. For mains we had the sea bass and lamb parpadelle, incredible! Braised for 9 hours, it was delectable. The service is wonderful, everyone is so kind.
