“Great food. First time visiting and didn't disappoint. I had the truffle and mushroom and the four cheese risotto balls. Both were great. The Fig and Cheese sandwich was also delicious. Next i want to try the lasagna and the breakfast muffins.“

“I’ve loved Slices for years now. Typically go with the chicken parm sub - always enough for two meals! Tonight I tried the new PINWHEELS - I think this is a new invention of Isaac’s. Basically it’s a pizza dough roll with cheese and a pizza topping - I had one spinach pinwheel and one pepperoni. And each pinwheel comes with a generous side car of tomato sauce. The bottom of the pinwheel is really crispy - somewhat akin to a deep dish pizza. Hard to describe! Highly recommend. Chef’s kiss!“

“It’s a restaurant that’s reminds me of my childhood and my early Twenties that was my go to Italian restaurant. I loved everything about this place and enjoyed the great food. I took my wife to celebrate our birthday together and talked about how amazing it was growing up in this neighborhood.“

The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, the setting is perfect, I love how small and intimate it is, and I love the fact that’s family owned. “Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. “Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house. The wonder of Italy is that each region produces their own excellent cuisines. Osteria Sardegna shows the best of Sardegna. Food and service are superb. The dinning room reflects the complexity of the culture as well.“

“Went for the chicken parm but it turned out to be the least impressive dish on the menu. As a food snob, I can easily say this place is 5 stars. The beef carpaccio is not only delicious, but they give you enough for four. Second only to Montclair's La Rocca. The Caesar salad is spot on and unique and the garlic shrimp special is the best thing on the menu. Needs to be a daily item. The truffle pasta was also perfectly flavorful and al dente. Not a lame dish in the bunch. My personal fave was the spaghetti pomodoro. As good if not better than Scarpetta, NYC. Staff is amazing as well. Bon voyage, Amanda! Can't wait to go back.

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“
