“I’ve loved Slices for years now. Typically go with the chicken parm sub - always enough for two meals! Tonight I tried the new PINWHEELS - I think this is a new invention of Isaac’s. Basically it’s a pizza dough roll with cheese and a pizza topping - I had one spinach pinwheel and one pepperoni. And each pinwheel comes with a generous side car of tomato sauce. The bottom of the pinwheel is really crispy - somewhat akin to a deep dish pizza. Hard to describe! Highly recommend. Chef’s kiss!“

“The staff were incredibly kind. I didn’t realize the branzino was breaded and I’m gluten-free. When I got my dish I let them know of the misunderstanding and they replaced my dish with no questions asked. The manager came over multiple times to check on us throughout the meal and then they brought us a free dessert that specifically fit my dietary restrictions. They went out of their way to make me feel like a normal person without all my dietary issues. It meant so much to me and the food was great!“

“Had a two-night stay at the Marriott in Teaneck, NJ, and ate at Pancetta. Highly recommend asking for Moni—she was exceptionally busy but still managed to give us attentive, excellent service. Food-wise, my margarita was a bit sharp, but some agave fixed it right up. My wife’s Prosecco was perfect, and her chicken parmigiana was tender and delicious. My braised lamb shank had great flavor, though it was a bit too chewy for my liking. Overall, a good spot to check out if you're in the area!“

They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. “Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house. “Authentic Italian restaurant run by a wonderful family. Quaint little spot that serves top tier dishes and great wine. We were all so impressed how good but different each sauce was for the dishes we ordered. Chef cooked the marinara sauce perfectly, it was bright and flavorful with just a touch of acidity. Artichoke was one of the highlights, as well as the Sardinia style pasta, Mallorredus. Portions were good and we even saved room for dessert. Pistachio Italian cheese cake - absolute perfection. The bread pudding is a stand out. The only issue is that everyone knows this place and cram themselves in. Lack of elbow room totally worth it!“

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“
