“Five Star ratings across the board may surprise some when a first-timer takes a look at Il Giardino Restaurant... It's a simple setting... more like eating at a friend's home. And this is exactly what makes it great! It's all about the food... the food is fantastic, with a broad variety of standard dishes and surprisingly lengthy list of nightly, and unusual, specials. The service is more about being warm and personal rather than coolly professional. There is a charm at Il Giardino in both its sincere simplicity and welcoming atmosphere. We just had a family birthday dinner there last week and I'm already looking forward to coming back! Two thumbs way, way up!“
“We ordered from Three Boys From Italy on Uber Food, we were blown away with how delicious the two pizzas were. We had to make the visit to their location. Nice place in North Vale. Plenty of off street parking. Welcoming when we walked in. A very casual dining room is more of a counter order pizza place. We opted for table service. We had fried calamari which was very good and came out hot. We also ordered a speciality wood oven pizza Domenico Special Pizza. Well to be perfectly honest it was good. But not as great as the two we had delivered. The Margarita and Vodka pizza are out of this world fantastic. The Domenico was not as good, we ordered something we would not normally get. It had fried eggplant and fried onions along with other special stuff. First it was not piping hot, due to the amount of stuff they put on it after it came out of the oven. They were happy to heat up the next two slices we had. It made the slice taste much better. Going home with the rest it smelled like White Castles in the back because of the fried onions. Still a great place. They use really good ingredients and have a winning pizza dough. Will definitely return and order online.“
“They have great food for the most part and the pizzas are always cooked well. Additionally, they offer their own delivery service (for a small fee) and usually arrives within 30 - 45 minutes when it is not extremely busy. It is difficult to find their menu online and my one complaint is that their prices keep going higher (which is mostly indicative of our times and political rule).“
“My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“

This place is for beautiful, delicious food with personalized service that will leave you with warm memories.We held a party and all the guests were praising food and all 19 members of our party chose different entree. Broad menu , delicious cocktails ( drinks were amazing - we were competing / challenging bar- and were so excited to receive beautiful composition of flavors). Big servings - enough to feed 2 people! They were very accommodating- they offered to open for our party an hour earlier - just for us to have some personal family time - WHO WOULD DO THAT!?! Once we walked in - we were offered to take off and hang our outwear. Warm welcome made us feel especially important! Only thought kept our servers away from us. They were on their toes above our table - and some moments were felt - they are reading my mind.Great for special occasions and beautiful food to have !! “This was such a pleasant experience. I was craving Mexican food, but as a Muslim, I was thoroughly surprised and pleased to see that this place was halal. The owner and his daughter were so kind and hard at work to make sure every customer was satisfied. The birria burger was amazing and left me wanting more despite being full. “The food was excellent and the Maitre'd was an expert at what he does. My concern was that I am vegan and when I asked the waiter if the risotto had butter, he said no, it would be okay. Well it not only had butter but it also had cheese. I also saw a waiter eating from a plate that had leftover food from a patron.“
“I want to thank the Kingsbridge Social Club for catering our fundraiser event on March 23rd. The food was sooooo good. The chicken parmigiana was delicious. Every one loved the sausage and peppers. The baked ziti was on point. I especially loved the added touch of the fresh basil. Once again thank you.I have also eaten in the restaurant several times and recommended it highly. I recommend the eggplant parmigiana and the chicken wings. My favorites.“
“Came here and was very pleased with the service and food. Small restaurant with intimate vibes but very very very good food. We had the octopus, kale salad, and the mozzarella to start and that was phenomenal. I had the lamb bolognese, we also got the steak, fish, pasta special, and the pork osso bucco.Will be coming back for their suckling pig next!“
“Great bread, quality meats. Got the Italian combo . It was well constructed and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended. $13 . Unfortunately, the owner (a super nice gentleman) has a group of consistently miserable people working for him. Ordering anything, especially asking for no lettuce, you will get an exasperated look , followed by a look of contempt at the end. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. So if you want really good food and a scowl doesn't bother you, try this deli out the food is consistently fresh.“
