“We were in the area on business and stopped in as it was just opening for the day. The waiter and hostess were very welcoming and the food was fresh and excellent. The waiter brought out some warm, fresh baked bread with tapenade and a bean spread to start. We then ordered some specials - mushroom raviolis in a truffle cream and saffron risotto with scallops and clams. Delicious!“

“Grew up in Cresskill and used to go to the old Rudy’s 55 years ago! Back in my old hood yesterday we came to the new Rudy’s - I had a Rudy’s special salad - delicious - and the eggplant parm. I had it over linguine and it was SO GOOD! It’s a hike for me to come here but if I’m even NEAR here, “ I’ll be back”. It’s not cheap but neither is the food - it’s fairly priced. ??“
“Great food at great prices. This became our favorite Italian restaurant when we moved to Bergen County. On a recent visit ordered their homemade at last minute and devine napoleon. Unlike most other restaurants which make their napoleon ahead of time which results in ruination due the soggy biscuit wafers, Buon Gusto assembles a perfect napoleon at just before serving. A real treat!“
