As a young kid, I grew up in CT in a very Italian and Greek heavy town. I remember heartwarming chicken parm on snowy nights ordered from a small Sicilian restaurant, the owners with whom we were friends. I have had a hard time finding a chicken parm as comforting as that.

Il Sole is a beloved neighborhood Italian restaurant that offers live Jazz music on Thursdays and an impressive selection of wine by the glass. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with ground-level entry and no steps. The menu has a great fusion of Italian and Latin cuisine. The food is plentiful and tasty, the drinks are strong and good, and the service is amazing. Il Sole is a recommended destination for a laid-back brunch or dinner, with great service and ambiance.
