“The staff is why I go besides the food. During covid, they were friendly, and I got my food fresh off the grill. I'm very proud of them for working for an honest dollar...it isn't easy here because most of these jobs, including mine don't pay us what we deserve plus we don't get enough to pay bills so yes I am very proud of the people who work there struggling to make a dollar out of 15 cent. “For one, this is a great sandwich place. It is usually crowded. When there is construction around here, all the construction workers come. I have just found the Jibarito sandwich on their menu and Oh My Goodness, it is friggin delicious! You can have steak, chicken, fish, and eggplant. I live for the steak sandwich. You have the option of having it on a hero roll or fried plantain. Fried plantain every day all day! It comes with stuff so you can have it made to order foe extra or to take away. It's not quick it takes about 20 min to prepare, but when it is done, you get to delve into the tastiest sandwich ever! Omg the Latin flavors! You have to try it! I have been having it delivered. But, I just came from the nail salon down the block Satchi Nail Salon and decided to stop in. I am waiting for it now. Can't wait to get home to eat it!!!!!!!! You must give it a try! “The atmosphere here is very warm and fun! I started coming here alone to sit on their wonderful patio and to just unwind after a long work day/week, and I have met some of the most wonderful people. The bartenders and the patrons are so friendly, social and some silly and make you feel very welcoming. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and watch the numerous hawks flying overhead which is a sight to see! Bridget and Desi are such wonderful friendly owners also. Check out the woman's bathroom and observe the beautiful fresh flowers! Food is excellent and the drinks are affordable and made perfectly by the fantastic bartenders! Whenever I am in a bad or good mood I go here and always leave extra happy :o)“

“I work at a university and we have had to make a couple of large orders this summer. The staff is incredibly helpful and have even provided plates, napkins, and plastic ware upon request. The pizza is delicious and they offer gluten free options and are accommodating toward other dietary restrictions, i.e., vegan. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking to cater large (or small) events or just want to order in one night.“

“My husband and I went last night for dinner, and we cannot stop talking about how much we enjoyed it. First, they accommodated us quickly and made us feel welcome despite the fact that we arrived a little over 15 minutes late for our reservation; we were expecting to wait but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is soooo pretty with greenery and fun music playing.Now the food: My husband ordered a cocktail and I ordered wine and both came out promptly & were generous in size. While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. It was easily one of our favorite meal experiences, as everything was made to perfection. For dessert we ordered the cheesecakes.. I have high expectations for cheesecake and theirs did not disappoint. We both left feeling stuffed but in the best way. No notes. 12/10.“
