Ruby, our waitress, was extremely helpful in assisting us to pick some menu items, since this was our first time there. We were very pleased with our choices. The food was well prepared and we were served generous portions, and the drinks were excellent. We will definitely return to this location.“

“One of the best middle eastern restaurants in metro NYC. we came with a part of five and ordered up a large sample of dishes. Everything we tried was one better than the next. Super tasty humus, light, fresh and lemony. I had a stuffed chicken over rice, which was to die for. We tried the mixed grill, shawarma, Middle East platter and several salads.
Very reasonable prices. Simple brightly lit space with a lovely staff.“

“The food is pretty good most days. Sometimes it comes out not as good, kind of stale, like it's been sitting for a bit, but all in all, it's pretty good. The staff are good for the most part. There were a few that are very judgmental towards teens and won't give us good service. And I've experienced a staff member chasing me and my friends out of the store because he thought we didn't pay. However, we did pay and tipped. But he just assumed we had not. So the food, most of the time, is okay; it's never excellent, but it's pretty good. They have nice fries. The atmosphere is good. It can be a little loud sometimes, but that's expected, but it's pretty good. Please, if you want a bite to eat, however, expect a wait. Most of the time, the food does take a while, and sometimes it takes a while to be seated as well.“

“Had a bit of an issue with Janus hostess. Her customer service needs a bit of work. Went to speak with manager Jesse. He was amazing, friendly and accommodating. The bartender Sophia so great too. Had an amazing night after the little hiccup. I want to thank Jesse and Sophia keep up the amazing work. If im ever back in Yonkers. I'll be back. They had great music and it was clean. Loved the vibe the rest of the night.“

“My brother & I went last Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server was so wonderful ( & I am so sorry I do not know her name!!). I had a shell steak ( took a chance) that was amazing! Arrived at our table a sizzling 1 1/2 thick thing of beauty with a massive baked potato and veggies. Exactly as I ordered. The soda bread was warm & fresh. My brother could barely finish his burger that had to be at least a half pound of meat, perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was delicious. We split the chocolate cake, (to die for) that the server generously said was on her for my birthday. The atmosphere was cozy, uncrowded, quiet enough to talk, and the prices are very reasonable!. This place is a hidden gem & I will be back!“
