Farm Burger
This country style cafe is located on the Abram Demaree Homestead farm. This building has been around since 1700s and was formerly a general store and tavern.
All of the menu items are freshly prepared in house using organic ingredients directly from the farm.
These are a couple of the lunch menu items I explored:
Homemade Hibiscus Iced Tea:
This herbal beverage has a reddish color; its appearance is different from an original iced tea.
The drink was very refreshing with a slightly tart taste.
Farm Burger:
This ounce angus patty includes lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a secret sauce. I also added yellow American cheese for a $1 up charge.
I cannot identify the ingredients of the secret sauce, hence the name. It was really tasty and I requested a small extra cup on the side for dipping.
For the most part, this was a tasty burger. Next time, I will request to have the patty cooked medium well because I feel a well done burger compromises its flavor.
This cafe also serves as a farmers market; they sell grocery items such as homemade honey and farm fresh eggs. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend dining in so you can take in the country atmosphere.

“I’ve had the pleasure of having Kim as my bartender and she’s the absolute best there is. Very personable , knowledgeable of what to have to eat or drink and just the best at what she does . Her experience behind the bar should never go unnoticed. I’ve been coming here for over a decade and she’s always stood out among anyone else back there.“

“I was blown away by the generosity of the servings. You certainly get your money's worth here! The flavor profile has evolved into something much more sophisticated. The ambiance is chic yet comfortable, and the waiters are exceptionally polite. It’s a 10/10 from me. The food is much tastier than my last visit and I’m completely full. The team here really knows how to take care of their guests.“

“Had the breakfast burrito 🌯 been wanting to get to this place for a while.
Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.
I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.
The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.
I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“When my brothers were kids, they would stop to eat at Hiram"s on their way back from Palisade's Amusement Park. My mom would always ask why. My brothers replied, "the food is better at Hiram's! When I worked for Thomas J. Lipton in Englewood Cliffs, my co-workers and I went to Hiram's for lunch often. I plan on going very soon! I so love Hiram's for the food and it's longevity.“

“Great place! My family and I stop by to get something to eat while we were visiting a family member at near by hospital. The service was remarkable and the food was amazing. We had the sliders, sizzling shrimp, and fries. The food was amazing. Great establishment. We will be stopping by again when we are in town.

“Wait staff was friendly and you were not pushed to finish dinner. We had the shrimp po' boy and the grilled ribeye open face steak sandwich. I asked for my French fries to be extra crispy and they were delicious. After driving for almost 5 hours, sitting in rush hour traffic and construction, this diner made our day and on a really great note.“

“I have been coming to Munno’s for over 22 years. I have never had better penne vodka and I travel extensively gobbling up food in different states and in Europe. “Tuck’d Away has the BEST brunch in the area. I never had a more diverse brunch in my life. the entire staff is very attentive and professional. Michael is the best owner in the world I ever met - so fun to be around and cares about the community. Jason is a very fun and friendly bartender and Stephanie and the serving staff always make it feel like you belong. Halloween was so fun and I loved how he had a costume contest- that Mcdonlads Girl is VIP - she won. Oh and tinkerbell was cool too 🤣👍📸“

“Louie's On The Avenue has been our favorite local restaurant for years ..however last Friday Stephanie and her team knocked it out of the park! with 24 hours notice, they helped plan, decorate, cater and Host our impromptu wedding. “We went here to celebrate our anniversary and they made our dinner feel special by having a chalkboard sign wishing us a happy anniversary for our table. We were also given an anniversary card with a coupon to get a free app on our next visit. The food was really good and filled you without making you feel overstuffed. “Our dinner for Indian Food Night was amazing! Every course was varied and a take on Indian classics like I have never tasted. The Lamb shank was to die for and Rice Crusted Halibut was unique and so flavorful! As always the staff was super friendly and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. I especially loved the entertainment which was guitar playing and singing by Taylor. So good! It was a magical evening! Chef Ben has outdone himself!“
