“Great atmosphere with tons of space. Super welcoming and laid back you can casually pop in without feeling any pressure. The hot dog hit the spot, but the tea options were a bit lacking. It’d be awesome if they expanded their food and beverage menu. Sitting inside while it rained was super cozy, and taking in the view right after the rain stopped was the cherry on top. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to!“

Homemade Hibiscus Iced Tea
Farm Burger

This country style cafe is located on the Abram Demaree Homestead farm. This building has been around since 1700s and was formerly a general store and tavern.

All of the menu items are freshly prepared in house using organic ingredients directly from the farm.

These are a couple of the lunch menu items I explored:

Homemade Hibiscus Iced Tea:
This herbal beverage has a reddish color; its appearance is different from an original iced tea.

The drink was very refreshing with a slightly tart taste.

Farm Burger:
This ounce angus patty includes lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a secret sauce. I also added yellow American cheese for a $1 up charge.

I cannot identify the ingredients of the secret sauce, hence the name. It was really tasty and I requested a small extra cup on the side for dipping.

For the most part, this was a tasty burger. Next time, I will request to have the patty cooked medium well because I feel a well done burger compromises its flavor.

This cafe also serves as a farmers market; they sell grocery items such as homemade honey and farm fresh eggs. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend dining in so you can take in the country atmosphere.

“I always go to Wally’s Bagel Nosh for my custom chicken caesar wrap, and it never disappoints. Luis always makes it extra special — you can tell he really cares about what he’s making, and it honestly makes a difference every time.

Wally and his team are amazing — everyone is super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Whether it’s customizing an order or just creating a great atmosphere, they really go above and beyond to make you feel like a regular.

“Got the mango shaped ice. It was large enough for four people, the ice itself had very good mango flavor with some mango ice cream on top. I do wish there were slightly more toppings. I’m not sure if the mangoes were frozen vs fresh, but it was a good way to cap lunch in palisades“

I played chess with my dad—of course I won! Duh…! The owners were very kind. In conclusion, my case is that I totally recommend going! My mom wants to buy a bunch of red bean taiyaki next time to freeze because she loved them so much!“

“Great space! Tasty coffee, bright space, and kind staff. They offer free WiFi and it's a great place to work. It's not the largest space, so they ask customers limit their time to 2 hours, which is reasonable! I would come back for some other drinks.

“Stopped in here for breakfast while here from put of town for a youth hockey tournament. The food atmosphere and service was awesome!

“Wow! Heard great things about Double Bubble and finally was able to make it there today! The window and the fun floaties outside got all four of our kids so excited! The interior was so fun! Little and big rubber ducks everywhere, fun seats that looked like desserts for kids to sit on, some table top games...and of course we were greeted by the owner himself, Tony! We ordered the bubble waffles with ice cream and toppings, brownies and adults had lattes and probably the best espresso I ever had....BROWN SUGAR SHAKEN ESPRESSO (I asked for almond milk). I don't normally like sugar in my coffee, but this was absolutely the best espresso I honestly ever had. It was such a kid and family friendly spot and the perfect ending to our lunch!

“Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

They have a lunch and breakfast menu and for a Monday, there were plenty of people going in and out - a sign that it's a great spot with locals.“

“This place isn't fancy at all. It is located inside an office building with a large window that overlooks the Fairleigh Dickinson University Hackensack campus. They serve absolutely delicious, mouth watering kosher dairy Mexican light foods and American style breakfast foods and salads. We've had many of the menu options and everything has been very good. Unfortunately, they close at 4PM Sunday through Friday (closed Saturdays and Jewish holidays) but it's worth hurrying there for an early dinner because the food is so consistently good. (The Oaxaca sopes are out of this world😋!) It's under the reliable hechsher of the RCBC (Rabbinical Council of Bergen County) and a mashgiach is on premises. The wait staff are all pleasant and helpful. It's a small place, so I'd recommend calling in advance for more than eight people. There is abundant parking on the street or in the parking lot across the street from the building. This is a handicap accessible venue.“

A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. “See ya Sook! Bourbon Street Beignet is now my favorite local pastry shop. Born in New Orleans (Charity Hospital-1952) and lived in Paris for a few years as a teenager. Jules does a great job with all his pastries. The beignets were warm, fresh and tasty and on par with Cafe du Monde in NOLA. Will be coming here again.......soon!“
