“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“I went there for breakfast on a Thursday morning. The croque madame was perfection! Great service, good vibe. Be aware that you have to pay for each cup of coffee (vs. getting free refills, which is typical for breakfast service at most restaurants). The upside is the coffee is fantastic and relatively inexpensive for NYC.“

““Had a really great experience at Tartinery Café near Columbus Circle. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for brunch and enjoying the city vibe.
The Roast Beef Tartine was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Great coffee, friendly service, and an overall very enjoyable spot in New York. Definitely a place we’d love to visit again.”“

“Great coffee, great pastries, great man. Sam is the nicest man there is. He invited me to come eat in his own home. His wife's homemade pastries are the best!“

“This cafe is so lovely. I had the pleasure of Desi and Aida assisting me with my order. They made the most delicious soy chai with amazing foam. Their desserts were amazing as well. It was refreshing to be greeted with such positive and friendly energy in New York. I can't wait to come back when I am in the area. Make sure to come to this cafe if you want a lovely experience and great food and drinks!“

“The fresh flowers, decor, and attention to detail make this an inviting and cozy cafe. The food can be a bit inconsistent, but mostly fresh and delicious. One of the owners is very friendly, and the staff is accommodating and pleasant. The one drawback is the noise. When the place fills up (which it does regularly), the combination of music and surrounding chatter can make it difficult to carry on a conversation. Today was particularly challenging. Either the volume or the type of music made it difficult to hear one another. One of the owners was near my table, so I motioned to her. After a bit, she did come by, but seemed a bit harried. I apologized that our hearing wasn’t what it used to be, and we were having a hard time conversing with the music being as loud as it was. She responded that the volume was at the level it usually is. I guess she realized she was being somewhat dismissive, so she said she’d see what she could do. As far as we could tell, nothing much changed, but we moved a little closer to one another, spoke a little louder, and enjoyed our coffee and breakfast!“
