I really like Maria and Sunshine Cafe. Her chicken and rice is a delicious comfort like home cooked food. I just moved here and live right around the corner. I’ll be back again and again!
For a small coffee shop this is absolutely adorable. First of all the owner is an absolute sweet heart. She is so welcoming to all patrons who go in. This was an absolute gem of gems. The latte was good and it was just nice to sit drink coffee and talk.

I love this place! They are super nice, the owner treats you like family right away. It’s definitely going on my Top 5 cafes in Astoria. The smoothies and pastries are delicious. I want to come back and try all of their menu items. When we walked in the place smelled amazing—the owner said she had just cooked some meatballs for their lunch special. Felt like home right away! 5/5
