Came in on a Sunday afternoon and had a pleasant experience. They have fast, free wifi and reasonable drink prices. I opted for the iced matcha latte (per usual), and they sweetened it with honey for free which was nice. The matcha was very smooth and yummy.

While visiting family in Manahattan, we stayed close by Tenpa's. I walked down for 3 days and ordered 3 coffee's (all different) and for 3 days they were made the exact same way and very good. The Vegan options for my sister was a huge bonus and I even got the same muffins. So good, and if your in the same area, its a solid morning option.
Awesome iced green tea with lots of flavor (not watered down) and one of the best croissants I've had in a while! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area 🤤

**Tenpa’s Coffee** is a neighborhood coffee spot known for consistently excellent coffee and super fast, friendly service. The coffee quality is really good, with a perfect toasty brown color, and the flat white is well prepared with perfectly steamed milk. The espresso is consistently well made, and the matcha latte is one of the best, while the turmeric golden latte is also really good. For those who prefer, the iced latte with almond milk and raspberry flavoring is pretty and layered. They also offer some of the best vegan pastries found anywhere, with real effort put into the options, and the chocolate muffin is dense yet tender.
The employees are nice and pleasant, everyone is smiling, and the service is quick and efficient—lines move fast. The owner is super kind, welcoming, and clearly cares about the customers and the quality. The space is great, with nice seating and more tables in the upgraded location, making it ideal for a quick stop or working. The design is thoughtful, with cute cartoon animals on the walls. It feels like a true local community spot, and the care put into what they have built is clear. Prices are also reasonable.
