Lovely local French Bistro. Off the beaten path but worth the couple minutes extra to get to 58th & 1st. French chef (I believe the owner) with a generous bar and easy comfortable French bistro appointments. Highly recommend the hanger steak frites and the escargot and onion soup as starters. Wonderful experience. Restaurants like this no longer exist. We are definitely coming back - too bad it's so difficult to get to from the the west village. Wonderful music too! Merci.
