Always amazing food and service love you guys
This restaurant is very authentic, classical french food done well with great ingredients. Our Dover Sole was cooked perfectly and very fresh, the frog legs were moist with a silky texture. It is not our first visit and will not be our last for sure.
Fabulous meal on the terrace and it's so rare these days to go to a restaurant that's still owner owned and operated. NYC still has some local gems that are not to be overlooked.

Bistro Vendôme is a lovely neighborhood gem serving authentic, well-prepared food in a charming setting. The professional staff offer a warm welcome and provide exceptional, first-class service. Diners feel valued from the very first greeting. The menu features a variety of options at reasonable prices, including delicious dishes like mussels, soft shell crabs, and dover sole, all prepared to perfection. The seasonal special soft shell crabs have been highlighted as divine, and the scallops are a consistent favorite. The wine list is excellent, with many good choices like CA Sauvignon Blanc and Albarino. Guests have enjoyed the outdoor terrace, particularly on lovely summer evenings. The Amish chicken and Bronzino are also well-received, and the onion soup is a must in winter. Desserts like the apple tatin and profiteroles complete the meal beautifully. While most food is delicious, there have been occasional disappointments, such as greasy duck confit. Overall, Bistro Vendôme remains a "go to" restaurant for well-prepared food and attentive, charming service.
