Very friendly staff - the woman working the outside door is great! Great bartenders and attentive wait staff. We only had drinks so I can't comment on the food but it looked good.
Nice view. Good food. A lot of stairs.
A welcoming experience if you are visiting the area. There was a bit of a wait (30min for 2) at 8pm, but I would say it is worth it. The atmosphere is just so homey and, well, tavern-y! The staff were very sweet to talk to while waiting outside, and we were served pretty quick as well.
I will say that $20+ for one burger is a bit absurd, but that’s how they get you with the tourist prices. The Smokehouse was perfect however, and I’m still craving the wild-boar...read full review
