“Planned a dinner for my husband's birthday last Saturday. Mars was our waitress. She was attentive and so kind. The manager Sarah provided awesome service to our large party as well. “We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“I didn’t expect to like this place as much as I did, but honestly everything we had was delicious. The fried chicken was incredible, but what really surprised me was the chicken and waffle combo — I had no idea that would work so well together, but it absolutely does.

We ordered the Rev. Al Sharpton and the President Obama, plus collard greens and black eyed peas on the side. Both sides were really good, but the black eyed peas stood out for me — super flavorful and comforting. The collard greens were also great and tasted very authentic.

On top of that, the price was more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food we got. Definitely not expensive for what it is.

We started with the baked clams, which were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. The bar pie was exactly what you want from a classic Jersey tavern pie—thin, crispy, and packed with flavor.
For mains, the steak with shrimp scampi was outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp scampi added that rich, buttery garlic flavor that made the whole dish stand out. The Drunken Onion Burger was another highlight—juicy, loaded with caramelized onions, and just downright satisfying. The owner even came out with some of their dessert options to try which ended the night perfectly.
The food, atmosphere, and overall experience made for a great first visit. Safe to say I’ll 100% be back to try even more on the menu. If you’re in the area and looking for great food in a classic local spot, Charlie Blood’s is absolutely worth the stop.“

“Today my dad and I had Easter Brunch at the Glen Rock Inn. It was amazing! There was a great selection of food. It was fresh, delicious and being replenished often. I have been to many buffets that sort of seem picked over as the day goes on. Not here! We had the last seating and everything was plentiful and fresh. The dining rooms were festive with pastel napkins and flowers. It was also not noisy at all even though every table was full. The staff was very attentive and we were not rushed at all. This experience really made our holiday. We will definitely be back.“

“Brooke and Anna made my 60th birthday extra special at Hard Rock. My wife and I stopped in for lunch before taking a tour of the stadium. Brooke was our server and was fantastic. She told us to come back for a drink at the bar after the tour and before the game. We did. Brooke had reserved us two seats and the atmosphere was great. Another server named Anna found out it was my birthday and brought me an ice cream Sunday with a candle, Had the whole place sing Happy Birthday to me……Brooke and Anna really made my day.
