Restaurants in New Milford

“Reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking”

“I’ve been coming to Sushi Story since the day it opened, and it continues to impress every single time. The first thing that stood out to me was the service—warm, immediate, and sincere. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted and made to feel welcome. The waitresses are consistently polite, attentive, and always carry a genuine smile. In particular, the waitress with the slicked-back hair has a way of elevating every visit; she’s made several special occasions truly memorable. The restaurant is almost always busy, and for good reason. Because seating can be difficult to secure, I strongly recommend making an RSVP ahead of time. Even with the constant flow of guests, the experience never feels rushed. The master sushi chef is actively engaged with diners, adding an extra touch of authenticity and hospitality to the meal. As for the food—exceptional. The salmon and tuna are always fresh, vibrant, and prepared perfectly. It’s easily one of the best places to enjoy a great evening out with family or friends. And don’t forget: it’s BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine. Sushi Story is truly a gem, and I look forward to visiting again very soon.”

“Their Italian dishes are superb.”

“Planned a dinner for my husband's birthday last Saturday. Mars was our waitress. She was attentive and so kind. The manager Sarah provided awesome service to our large party as well. Food was delicious. DJ Blurred Lines played all the hot 🔥 music and classics. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!! Thank you Sarah & Mars 🫶✨️🥂🎶”

“A huge THANK YOU to Ken and everyone at Soprano's in NM for helping make our NMHS 40th reunion a success. Ken took his time to help me plan a menu, order, and execute a hot and cold buffet for over 60 people. The food came precisely when promised, piping hot, and everything was delicious. (All on a very busy Saturday Night might I add!). I will certainly be calling them again for my next catering as well as take-out dinner!”

“hands down the best place! beyond 5 stars from food to staff.....Francesca and Junior were beyond exceptional bartenders! Food was excellent.....Absolutely love everything about this place”

“We engaged Roman to cater our Christmas Eve gathering, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every respect. The food was delivered promptly at the scheduled time, the portions were generous and well-balanced, and every dish was exceptionally well received by our guests. The selections—including Penne alla Vodka, Chicken Francese, Eggplant Parmigiana, and a fresh salad—were prepared to a high standard and demonstrated excellent quality. The pricing was very reasonable given the caliber of the cuisine. We would highly recommend Roman’s catering services.”

“This order was a pickup and was ready to go just as I arrived. The Blueberry Açaí Bowl and Avoissant were delicious, but the Nutter Butter Shake was not good. Having had this beverage in the past, it did not taste the same and was a disappointment.”

“Drink is delicious! Staff really helpful, love this place. My fav milk teA brand! Brown sugar boba milk tea is must try!!!!”

“Amazing! I have been tempted to try this restaurant for a few months and my only regret is waiting. The food was fantastic and the staff was warm and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back and introduce friends and family.”

“Best godfather sandwich EVER!!! My Friday treat after a long work week!!! Alex, please get another one ready this Friday (5/22) Ken’s picking it up. You make them THE BEST!!! Thank you!!!”

“Another great bagel spot in New Milford. Hands down one of best ice coffees, the ice cubes are frozen coffee so your drink won't get watered down. You can taste the difference.”

“Really nice, no frills take out spot. I was here for lunch and had the shrimp with garlic sauce plus fried rice, and dumplings. Everything was really good and fresh. Portions were giant for a lunch special.”

“First time trying thud place. I had the Frank Italian sub and was excellent. Place is clean and food in counters looks great. Will go back again to try more of the offerings”

“I’ve lived in NM for 5 years and this has been my go-to place. Their food is great, their prices are fantastic and affordable. I’ve seen her kids grown up to be great humans. Their delivery man is nice and friendly and they never take long to drop off the food.
I recommend take out and if you don’t wanna tip. People fail to understand that cultural differences exist and complain about their “attitude and service”, but I can ensure you they’re all super nice and working at a fast-paced restaurant doesn’t allow them time to chitchat. They’re here for your money, not your friendship so get over it!”

“Five star Baklava!!!! Highly recommended”

“Mackenzie was so sweet when I took my niece to get some ice cream! We were greeted with a warm welcome and she lets us try some different flavors! She was wonderful! Our ice cream sundaes were delicious!”

“Even Though They Don't Have Sugar Free - Lots Of Ice Cream Places Don't Think Of Diabetics ~ Sad”

“I was Happy to try the Flamethrower Burger w/Fries,along with a Medium drink/Flurry(Awesome service worthy of 10,000/10,000 of awesomeness)”

“Fine food. It's consistently convenient. Customer service is average. MAJOR UPDATES NECESSARY, NOT FOR THE RESTAURANT, BUT FOR THE DRIVE THRU. It's truly just mind boggling that with renovations came a nice, much more updated interior and exterior, but a drive thru that still only fits a clown car, and maybe the occasional mini cooper.”

“GIFT CARD SENIOR CITIZENS DEALS !! // SWEETS & MEALS !!”
