It's truly just mind boggling that with renovations came a nice, much more updated interior and exterior, but a drive thru that still only fits a clown car, and maybe the occasional mini cooper.“

The food is simple, fresh, and tasty. 😃 Everything has such a clean, homemade taste. I especially love their warm pita bread and fresh salad. The complimentary kaymak (cheese spread) on the side is also delicious and such a nice touch.

“I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! It was truly amazing that I can get chicken,rice,fries(shocking for me) and veggie of choice for only $12 was so impressive. I’m definitely going back.“

“I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here and I will be visiting again soon!“

“This is by far the best chicken and rice spot in Bergen County and has far surpassed Halal Guys for the freshness, quality, taste, and portions in its platters. I discovered it as a door dasher and their gave it a try and maaaaannnn I was pleasantly suprised. Plus I tried the wings, as a wing aficionados and HOT DAMN, their Buffalo flavored wings are off the chain. They dont do the BS breaded wings so many places do these days. It just buffalo styled wings. I have also tried their shakes - cinnamon toast crunch and it's the 💣diggity. Such a large menu that I need to try more stuff.

“I was introduced to this place about 6 years ago and I continue to still go to this place whenever I am craving a good gyro! I have moved and still continue to only go here and buy gyros! I ate there recently with my best friend (something I never do is eat there) so when I ate there the staff was very welcoming and friendly and even asked about the service to make sure it was perfect for us! “I loved it. I came in here yesterday after my graduation because I didn’t have a reservation at the restaurant I was planning to go to. And this spot made me glad I didn’t have that reservation. The bento boxes are only $15 that come with 1 protein, 3 sides, and a few extra vegetables. The boba and tea’s they have are to die for. And they’re so so so kind!!!!! “GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. It’s my first time trying, i order 9 pcs chicken with fries and chicken rice with the sauce on the side .
Usually other place will only give 1x2oz if i request sauce on the side, but here, they gave me 2x 4oz !!
This place so generous, even the fries !
My daughter is a picky eater, but they ate all the chicken rice without 1 pc rice left and my little one she loved the crunchiness from the chicken skin, they even liked the white sauce ❤
And also the owner so nice 👍

Recently opened. I'll cut them some slack but the staff clearly are not trained well enough yet. Unorganized, broken burritos, confusion, bags not big enough, etc. Id wait a month or two until they are more trained.“

“My first visit to Wingstop was a bit of a disappointment, as I tried their bone-in wings and found them to be underwhelming. However, a friend encouraged me to give it another go, this time with the boneless wings, and I'm so glad I did! The boneless wings were absolutely fantastic—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with the Hot Honey flavor standing out as especially delicious (Garlic-Parm was a show stopper too, but skip the KBBQ). Great value for the quality and portion size, too.

While the parking lot can be a bit tricky to navigate, the kitchen area was impressively clean, almost laboratory-level, which was reassuring. The staff was also incredibly kind and attentive, making the overall experience much more enjoyable. Definitely worth a second visit.“

I asked for no oil unless it was real olive oil on the sandwich (lots of places save a buck by serving cheap soy oil, seed oil beliefs aside.. I prefer olive oil) and he produced a lovely can of high quality extra virgin olive oil. He asked if I wanted the sandwich slightly toasted which was a great touch. “They offer Thumanns hot dogs (either all beef, or beef/pork mix). they are ripped like Rutts in the deep fryer. Mine had a perfect snap.
They also have banana peeppers which you dont see at many hot dog joints. I will return when im in the area, but onward with the tour.
1 dog with spicy brown and banana peppers was about $5.“
