This restaurant is owned by the former owners of Callaghans, and the hotdogs taste just like I remember them. The hotdogs are 9 inch dogs deep fried until they're crisp on the outside but still soft and juicy on the inside. The spicy onions had kick but weren't overwhelmingly hot. The potato stix topping was interesting. It was fun but I am traditionalist when it comes to my hotdogs. These are good dogs. No doubt about it.
Located right across the NJ Transit train station and bus stop, the proximity to which is the only reason I would ever miss commuting into the city. Because if I could eat here every day I would... Hot dogs are life. Without them, well we're just served a plate of regret, flavorless and mocking. We need hot dogs to defeat the powers of... whatever bothers us in these postmodern times. There more hype than substance here.....fries were not what I like , too thin and crispy....some may like them that way though. The hot dogs was good and on a nice firm bun with red relish .....it was good but not phenomenal. Still prefer Rutt's.
