“I don't usually write long Google reviews, but after attending a buddy’s wedding in North Jersey recently, I had to drop one for this place.
Honestly, I’m not even a big cake guy, but the dessert setup at the reception caught my attention right away. They had this huge, multi-tiered custom wedding cake that looked awesome really clean work, not over the top, just super high quality. My wife and I were actually talking about how great it looked before they even cut into it.
When we finally got our slices, I expected the usual wedding cake thing: looks great, tastes like dry cardboard or straight sugar. But man, this thing was actually insane. Super moist, fresh, and tasted legit. I finished mine in about two minutes and ended up grabbing half of my wife’s slice too. It was so good I walked over to the groom during the party just to ask where they got it. He told me they had it custom designed at D’era House.
Finding a cake designer around North Jersey that makes something that actually tastes as good as it looks is pretty rare. I saved their info on my phone right then and there for our next family event.
If you’re looking for a solid wedding cake designer, custom made tiered cakes, or custom event cakes in Clifton or anywhere in the area, D’era House is 100% the real deal. Props to the baker! 💍🍰💪“

“I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “I'm very impressed. I believe this is the best burger chain in the area. The burger concepts are tasty, and they don't go cheap on the meat. You can really taste the quality. Also, I enjoyed the friendly attitude of the father and son (presumably) who operate the place. A friendly attitude and good service is a great compliment to great food. “The froyo here is so distinct. It legit taste like frozen yogurt. This isn't like your typical froyo location that's high in sugar and filled with fillers. Something about this is oddly refreshing and invigorating. You definitely get the feeling of consuming yogurt here. Also, all froyo is made fresh to order by machines in the front. They have plenty of options for topping and the staff are friendly. They gave me plenty of toppings for my dollar. Money well spent, highly recommend.“

“This is a great neighborhood spot. The flavora are creative. The ice cream is delicious and not too sweet and they also have vegan options. There are little touches that make this ice cream shop extra fun. Their spoons change colors when you eat the ice cream , they always have music playing, and if you order sprinkles in a cup, they put sprinkles in the bottom of the cup before they put the ice cream in and then top it with sprinkles so that you get a sprinkle surprise when you get to the end of your ice cream. This place is a Riverdale gem. For mobility concerns: the entrance is ADA accessible!!!“

I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries.
