“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “The ice cream was delicious but two people in my party got huge sundaes and they took about ten minutes to make. I felt horrible for the people behind us. I think a queue would be more appropriate than going and hoping you don’t behind the wrong people. Servings are more than generous but they’re packed into the container so tightly that on a hot day, it spills over the sides as soon as someone digs in. There’s also nowhere to sit A few small tables or benches would be nice.“

I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. Makes the customer feel good and its a guarantee of coming back with the entire family and share with others. Lots of different choices and there are little tables to eat outside the ice cream shop. I will say a family in front of me: the mama dropped her ice cream by mistake while carrying the others for her children and they literally gave her a brand new one with no charge! “My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

“I just want to express what a lovely experience we had at your ice cream shop in Ramsey this evening. My husband discovered the shop last week and enjoyed having some ice cream from there. He raved about it to us and I planned to come in on Labor Day with my daughter to try some. I called before heading over and Addison was so nice and courteous over the phone.
