“I don't usually write long Google reviews, but after attending a buddy’s wedding in North Jersey recently, I had to drop one for this place.
Honestly, I’m not even a big cake guy, but the dessert setup at the reception caught my attention right away. They had this huge, multi-tiered custom wedding cake that looked awesome really clean work, not over the top, just super high quality. My wife and I were actually talking about how great it looked before they even cut into it.
When we finally got our slices, I expected the usual wedding cake thing: looks great, tastes like dry cardboard or straight sugar. But man, this thing was actually insane. Super moist, fresh, and tasted legit. I finished mine in about two minutes and ended up grabbing half of my wife’s slice too. It was so good I walked over to the groom during the party just to ask where they got it. He told me they had it custom designed at D’era House.
Finding a cake designer around North Jersey that makes something that actually tastes as good as it looks is pretty rare. I saved their info on my phone right then and there for our next family event.
If you’re looking for a solid wedding cake designer, custom made tiered cakes, or custom event cakes in Clifton or anywhere in the area, D’era House is 100% the real deal. Props to the baker! 💍🍰💪“

“Have been wanting to stop for the longest time. Finally did tonight. The food was fantastic! We were lucky enough to sit in the booth reserved for The Soprano Family!! Made the experience that much better. Nice to see the spot were the final episode was filmed but if we lived closer we would come back for the food!! So glad David Chase picked Holsten’s!!“

“Such a cute ice cream spot in Dumont! 🍦 We had such a great experience. The ice cream was delicious, the portions were generous, and there were so many great flavors to choose from. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Family friendly and they have outside seating. Definitely a perfect spot to grab a sweet treat with the family. “My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Thanks for the yelp elite invite. In little part of town is a hidden gem. Must have past it numerous times. What a great experience! It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “The food, atmosphere, and staff was fantastic! For starters, the employees were super nice, helpful and patient. I ordered the Banana Split Dazzler Sundae and it was delicious and so worth the price. The atmosphere was wonderful and everything was so clean and organized. Since most businesses have a disheveled atmosphere, Häagen-Dazs did not disappoint at all! Overall, come here! It is amazing and you will not regret it.“

“Applegates Farm Ice Cream is an awesome spot with incredible, great-tasting homemade ice cream, but be prepared for a wait if you visit on a weekend evening. When heading there on a Saturday night, the line can easily stretch to around 45 minutes. However, the rich, delicious scoops served in their classic cow-print cups make the wait completely worthwhile.“

“Really good, quality desserts. We got the creme brulee and citron tarte. The creme brulee tasted like creamy marshmallow. The tarte had a creamy, fresh taste. However, I wasn't a fan of the crust. Everything tasted very fresh. The staff was patient and helpful.“

“Malibu with cherry Italian Ice. May I saw the service is above & Beyond. Fast and very respected. Makes the customer feel good and its a guarantee of coming back with the entire family and share with others. Lots of different choices and there are little tables to eat outside the ice cream shop. I will say a family in front of me: the mama dropped her ice cream by mistake while carrying the others for her children and they literally gave her a brand new one with no charge! Other places they will charge 😆 but not Ralph's so go check them out this summer you wont regret it. 😉“

“The most amazing experience ever. Can’t say enough. Both Mary and Philip are the sweetest and were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. They didn’t charge me a single cent. I got the same order for the following week and they did an absolutely amazing job. The BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES EVER!!!! I highly recommend them and they have loyal customer for life ❤️❤️“

“I have not physically been to their store, but have watched their TikToks and live stream.( J did an absolutely stunning job with the cakes she was making today. She did happy birthday cakes, to streamers, to a gory unicorn cake that represented a Halloween theme. She is very fast handed and very detail oriented when it comes to making those cakes come to life! She also went over how she makes roses on cakes as well which as her least favorite part, was my favorite part. It was pretty fascinating and captivating learning more about the art of cakes! We also were able to see her role from cake making, to her customer service abilities. In my opinion she was pretty kickass! She is very spunky and very funny. Mike has cultivated a very positive workplace where they have fun with the job, which is what it should be about. My strongest advise is don’t knock it till you try it for yourself! Don’t listen to others opinions until you have witnessed them, their cakes, and other goodies for yourself. Not everything online is what is seems! Go check them out!(:“
