I upgraded for $1 to a pretzel bun. Person I went with got the turkey burger and enjoyed it. My meal was about $18, including a fountain drinkSome others have described the fries here as soggy — they’re just not crispy enough, combined with being a thicker-style cut (similar to Five Guys but just undercooked in comparison). If I went back, I’d ask they cook mine longer so they’re crispier. I’m not asking for crunchy or burnt, but these need a little something more. Good flavor — they have bags of Idaho potatoes at the front door— but mediocre at best based on how they’re prepared. For example, Wendy’s has a similar cut but they’re crispy, McDonald’s is thinner and crispier, etc. Fries are terrible for you so if I’m gonna blow calories on em, I want them to be worth itI’d like to see a grilled chicken sandwich on the menu — I realize this is a chain brand but adding a little more variety and lower-calorie options to the menu would be nice. There’s plenty of seating, the location was clean, they have some TVs and a Coca-Cola fountain along with lemonade and Gold Peak teas. Every table had a bottle of Heinz ketchup and napkins, which was nice. There is a chicken tender sandwich but it’s not actually shown on the in-store menu above the register, which is confusing. This is a great family run deli, with the whole family helping to make super authentic tacos in the back. All the cookies were super fresh; hard but soft outside with a gooey warm inside..YUM! My favorite was the OG Chunk (had some sea salt on top) and the stuffed nutella. The kitchen sink was also very good especially with the potato chips but I just wish it didn’t have caramel drizzle on top. Never go wrong with a Patty Melt( it was taken off the menu for a while but happy to see it back) , a fishamajig melt, or a BBQ tenders melt. “Had one of our few yearly trips to Penny Lick today to treat our peanut allergic son. Ice cream was delicious as always. We got to sample a few flavors before deciding. The gentleman working the counter was amazing as always. He is such a delight and always chats with us. Knows all about the flavors available and helps with deciding what to get. We got to sit and enjoy chatting with him while eating our ice creams, and our son even get seconds after deciding he'd like to try a milkshake- something he doesn't get to do often due to his severe peanut allergy. We are so thankful for peanut free stores such as this, where our son can be comfortable and have a moment of normalcy. If we didn't like 1.5 hrs away, we would visit at least weekly. “We found this hidden gem ice cream shop at the time we visited nearby seafood restaurant nearby. We saw there was a long line standing in front of its window. My friends mentioned it's one of the best ice creams in local. Therefore we had to taste it. I ordered one scoop of mint flavor and one scoop of blackberry flavor. It tasted so creamy and I could feel the freshness blowing on my face. Because we just came back from our European trip, the ice cream from this shop reminded me of the ice creams we ate in Europe.“
