“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Malibu with cherry Italian Ice. May I saw the service is above & Beyond. Fast and very respected. Makes the customer feel good and its a guarantee of coming back with the entire family and share with others. Lots of different choices and there are little tables to eat outside the ice cream shop. I will say a family in front of me: the mama dropped her ice cream by mistake while carrying the others for her children and they literally gave her a brand new one with no charge! Other places they will charge 😆 but not Ralph's so go check them out this summer you wont regret it. 😉“

One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. “As always, this Carvel location is always my go to. Their staff is phenomenal, honestly the best out of all carvels I’ve gone to. I only order cakes from this location because their decorator is always on point when it comes to designing. My son loved his cake and so did everyone else. I’ve learned to just give a theme to the decorator because they always do an amazing job and I have come to trust and appreciate their creativity. And while the Icecream is delicious, this post is to mainly reflect the greatness of the staff and especially the decorators.“
