Excellent ice cream shop in Harlem. Delicious flavors - be ready for some modern spins (e.g., blackberry cheesecake and honey lavender) rather than the old school basics. Though the vanilla was heaven. We were there two nights on a recent trip to New York and had great service both times. The shop is intimate and welcoming. Wish it was closer to home.
I did not expect to go to a place with such interesting flavors. This place really reminded me of those small ice creameries in secondary cities like St. Louis and Detroit that have so many fun and unique flavors. They also give you a huge scoop which is great! I ordered the Cafe Touba which has a base of Senegalese Coffee with Peanut Brittle, Cardamom, and Selim Pepper Brownies mixed into it.
