“This is the best place to get Mexican food in yonkers, I've tried a lot of places in the area but nothing comes close to here. I've had Tacos Al Pastor, Tacos Dorados and Enchiladas de Mole Poblano. They also make incredible in house hot sauces. The only thing they do not have is any hard liquor on site, so don't expect margaritas but the food is enough to satisfy anyone, come check out this hidden gem in Yonkers!“
“I ordered two beef steak quesadillas with the flour taco and those were absolutely fantastic!! Tender bits of steak, and a green chile sauce and a red hot sauce served in small plastic cups to pour all over these heavenly dishes! Enter the Tacos; I want you guys to know that you cannot order just ONE taco, they need to be ordered two at a time. So if you want just ONE taco they won't sell it to you! I ordered two chicken tacos and two steak (carnitas) tacos WITHOUT CILANTRO ! I'm allergic to cilantro. They did a great job of cleaning the stove top before they prepared and heated my food order. Also I told them my wife is allergic to pork, (she's Muslim & it's just easier to tell chefs at these type of establishments that my wife has "allergies" to any pork products. The Tacos were good. Not amazing, but satisfying. I then ordered the chicken fingers which came with a HUGE portion of hot, steamy, French fries! The fries were fried to perfection and the potato flavor was not overpowered by the oil it was fried in. The fries were pretty much perfection. The chicken fingers were square pieces of fried chicken covered in a dark brown bread crumb with some green herbs in the bread crumbs that I could not identify. I didn't like the chicken fingers. They were not what I was expecting. The breading was not tasty and there were short and stubby cuts of flat chicken. I didn't like the looks or the taste. All of this came out to 41$ and some change. I thought overall the food, minus the chicken fingers was fresh- well prepared - and appetizing. The price is a little steep for my pockets. So I probably wouldn't be going here all the time because of pricing alone. Overall the place is very clean and the food appears to be fresh and delicious; but skip the chicken fingers.... Buon Provecho! Buon Appetito!“
“This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant at this moment. The food is delicious, even our toddlers devour the food I love the steak quesadillas! The drinks are also top notch. The beat Frozen Passion Fruit Margarita, hands down! You don't want to miss this place! They will treat you like family!“
“Went in to grab lunch at this local place, the atmosphere was very warm, and welcoming. The owners are super kind and sweet. I ordered a personal chicken pizza ($10) and it was super delicious and the dough was chewy and amazing. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and made with love.My new favorite lunch spot!“
“This place just opened up and its so clean and cozy inside. Everyone is so friendly. And the food? Absolutely delicious. It was authentic and very fairly priced. I had the burrito bowl and you get more that what you paid for!! I am certainly coming back for more.“
“Amazing! Did not expect to visit New York and find some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! Enchiladas are my favorite and every new restaurant I try, I always get it; these are likely the best I've ever had! So much depth and flavor. My husband loved his wild mushroom quesadilla and the sauce with it paired so well. The churros and sauce were perfect! Cannot recommend this place enough!“
“By far the best slice I've had in a long time. I had to come back and update my review. The new management here is what I like to call progress to our neighborhood. I love the fact that it's still the same taste from high school with familiar faces progressing. Well actually idk if it's me but it taste even better...... I wish you guys the best in all endeavors. I been eating here since class of 06 Lincoln high.“
“Great little Hispanic deli, just finished their lunch special w chicken that was priced fair. "Think it was 13 or $14 with a drink". If your a hot sauce guy, ask for their red sauce, they must make it there, but my God it hits a spot“
“The BEST Mexican we’ve had so far in Westchester. Very cool vibe and decor - especially the chairs and dishes. The guac was fresh, the enchiladas were uniquely crispy with an addicting green sauce, and the birria was incredibly rich and well spiced. For dessert, we got the flan. So rich and creamy - almost cheesecake like. Our server was also very nice. We will be back!“
“The food is great I can’t even complain! It’s jus the lady server is ver rude and disrespectful to certain “Black” customers and that’s not right! She’s very racist and I will tell her that to her face, I jus wanted to document this review especially for her so when she sees it she can appreciate business from Black people like myself!“
“Extremely happy with the service. I ordered 120 tacos for my party with one day notice and Juan and his team did an amazing job. The food was delivered fresh & hot and everyone at the party raved about the how delicious the tacos were. Definitely using them again since they provided an impeccable service.“
“BEST SERVICE! FOOD WAS IMMACULATE, TASTED SO FRESH AND THE PLACE IS SO CLEAN AND WELL KEPT! ESPECIALLY THIS ONE WAITRESS JENN SHES LITERALLY SUCH A SWEETHEART VERY ACCOMODATING AND HELPFUL EVEN GAVE GREAT MEAL RECOMMENDATIONS!! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND YOU GUYS GO HERE!“
“Margarita has a totally Mexican atmosphere, we were here today, Sunday, celebrating a friend's birthday and we enjoyed its nighttime activity with a festival with the presence of actor Harry Geithner. The excellent decoration and the attention of its owner and his waitresses as well.“
“The place had been closed for a while but the reopened and the carnitas tacos are still excellent. Highly recommend. Best tacos in the world. So far the best tacos I have had in Yonkers. I always get the carnitas tacos and they are always so flavorful and the place is simple but nice and clean. The carnitas are always tender. I also get the horchata. This is the place I always go to for Taco Tuesdays. Hands down the best chimichanga in the area, the service is great and the people are very friendly. I've been here several times and never had to wait long for my food. A must of your looking for good authentic Mexican food.“
“Got Al pastor mini tacos with homemade tortillas (extra $2 but a must). I’ve been eating Mexican food in mainly in LA and New York, but also in Mexico, Chicago and everywhere else, for 24 years. It’s by far my favorite cuisine. And these are the best tacos I’ve ever had.“
“I am so happy I came across this restaurant on UberEats. The food from here is authentic Mexican food. I ordered shrimp tacos with handmade tortillas and it was by far the best I’ve ordered for delivery. (I wish I took photos of the food but I was so hungry I devoured the whole tray.)My husband ordered the steak chimichanga and also mentioned how fresh it tasted despite us ordering at 11pm. I will be ordering more often and trying new things on the menu, Can’t wait.“
“One of my favorite dishes is #molepoblano. Did you know this specific brand is made in #yonkers? That's right, Mrs. García is originally from the #CityofMexico, her husband is from the state of #Puebla she met her husband here in Yonkers and started from scratch at home. Got her license to sell the product now she has her own small #momandpopshop deli/restaurant in Yonkers! Want #bestqualityproducts at home try it easy to make and delicious! #supportsmallbusiness #momandpopstorefronts“
“Really enjoyed this little spot. The Frozen Sangria Margarita was AWESOME!! I am glad that they advertised themselves as "Tex-Mex" so there were no expectations above that. They let me "customize" my quesadilla and adding the chorizo was well worth it. The price was VERY REASONABLE for the food. The specialty drinks were a little pricey but, again, WELL WORTH IT! I will definitely check this spot out with my Fiancee and come through for drinks with my girls.“
“I love this place. I come here when I want authentic Mexican food- the kind your mama would make. None of that Taco Bell fufu stuff. Also the food is delicious for an affordable price. The pricing does NOT compensate for the quality of the food which is ??. Do not steer away just by the way it may look in the inside because the staff is friendly, humble and always accommodating with your specific dietary needs. You’ll feel at home if you dine in ? Supporting an establishment with good repour, delicious food is supporting Mexican culture and a family business. Come try! My husband and I have the caldo de chilate all the time when we’re hungover -it’ll pick you right up lol. Also good for a cozy rainy day with a little kick to it . My favorite!“
“Love! Love! Love! I come atleast once a week for the last 2 years! it’s a friendly environment and the fooood is everything. Yonkers finest margaritas for sure I highly recommend ask for pavel she’s definitely the best bartender!!!! ???“
