“I ordered two beef steak quesadillas with the flour taco and those were absolutely fantastic!! Tender bits of steak, and a green chile sauce and a red hot sauce served in small plastic cups to pour all over these heavenly dishes! Enter the Tacos; I want you guys to know that you cannot order just ONE taco, they need to be ordered two at a time. So if you want just ONE taco they won't sell it to you! I ordered two chicken tacos and two steak (carnitas) tacos WITHOUT CILANTRO ! I'm allergic to cilantro. They did a great job of cleaning the stove top before they prepared and heated my food order. Also I told them my wife is allergic to pork, (she's Muslim & it's just easier to tell chefs at these type of establishments that my wife has "allergies" to any pork products. The Tacos were good. Not amazing, but satisfying. I then ordered the chicken fingers which came with a HUGE portion of hot, steamy, French fries! The fries were fried to perfection and the potato flavor was not overpowered by the oil it was fried in. The fries were pretty much perfection. The chicken fingers were square pieces of fried chicken covered in a dark brown bread crumb with some green herbs in the bread crumbs that I could not identify. I didn't like the chicken fingers. They were not what I was expecting. The breading was not tasty and there were short and stubby cuts of flat chicken. I didn't like the looks or the taste. All of this came out to 41$ and some change. I thought overall the food, minus the chicken fingers was fresh- well prepared - and appetizing. The price is a little steep for my pockets. So I probably wouldn't be going here all the time because of pricing alone. Overall the place is very clean and the food appears to be fresh and delicious; but skip the chicken fingers.... Buon Provecho! Buon Appetito!“

Anselmo's Pizzeria & Deli Pizza • $

“Was in Yonkers to get some paperwork and decided to get lunch before heading back to the city by train. I searched for food and Anselmo's Pizzeria & Deli was nearby. Initially, I was surprised on how small the place was but it was crowded (both tables were occupied and there was a line). Decided on getting two slices of pizza (shrimp and then cheese) and a drink. Both were excellent. Highly recommend the place but better if you takeout.“

“Amazing! Did not expect to visit New York and find some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! Enchiladas are my favorite and every new restaurant I try, I always get it; these are likely the best I've ever had! So much depth and flavor. My husband loved his wild mushroom quesadilla and the sauce with it paired so well. The churros and sauce were perfect! Cannot recommend this place enough!“

Tostadas De Tinga

“The food was delicious and the servings were huge. One dish could feed at least 3 people. The alcohol drinks were pricey and tasted like they barely had alcohol, but they were also good. Our food took kind of long, but it was delicious. The service was really good and they stayed on top of helping us. It was my birthday and they put my cake in the refrigerator and brought it out and sang me happy birthday when it was time. I had a party of 13 and we were comfortably seated. They also have valet parking. It was a really good birthday here.“

“Went in recently for dinner and had the Lamb Tacos and an El Chamon, one of their specialty cocktails made with Mezcal and Hibiscus syrup. Really great drink and the lamb tacos were really great as well, nice little spicy kick to them as well. Really cool well thought out space inside, not big but cozy and a pretty big outdoor area for the spring and summer time. Will be back soon with friends!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian tacos. “This cozy spot stole our hearts with its chill vibes, perfect for both date nights and gatherings with friends. ✨ The music sets the mood, and the bar seems like the place to be next time for an even livelier atmosphere.Food: The Kalifornia, Shrimp hand rolls, and Fish + Chips Takos were absolute winners - fresh, flavorful, and left us wanting more. The pork dumplings were decent, but we've had better. The Oyster Mushrooms, although tasty, were a bit heavy on the batter.Drinks : The Suntory beer was refreshing, but the Paradise Lost stole the show - a tropical explosion that balanced sweet, smoky, and spicy notes perfectly. Highly recommend it!Overall, a charming spot with great potential. We'll definitely be back to explore the menu and bar scene further!“

“I'm late to the party but I'm glad I've arrived. Delicious, special, creative and beautifully made food in a gorgeous space with great energy and people who gladly serve what they proudly make. Not your typical Thai, and thank goodness for that. Pad Thai is the best I've ever had. The shrimp entree is also amazing. The fried rice with crab is incredible. And even if you don't think you have room, the pandan dessert is incredible and will be on your mind for weeks after. If you're like me tho, you'll go back the following week and have it again.“

Birria Tacos 4
Quesadilla

“This is a very underrated truck in the city. One of the best birria spots I've tried in a while. I tried this place on new years, and it was sooo good, I dragged any of my friends that mentioned anything about food that day. I first got the birria torta, which was a heavenly sandwich, and a great deal for 10$. I also went back for a birria quesadilla, which was also really good! The service was quick both times, and I really appreciate them keeping reasonable prices on new years, with 1 dollar waters and 2 dollar sodas! I can't speak too much about the ambiance because I assume this was a temporary location for new years, but I would follow this truck anywhere. No food pics, food was gone way before I ever thought about taking a picture.“
