“Love it going back really soon“

“What a great way to start my day. I’m in town visiting my Son and wanted some breakfast. Headed to AMS Cafe and I’ll tell you what…best decision I have made in some time. What looked like just an average eggs and potato selection on the menu…when it came out I was blown away. The flavors the presentation and everything about the place is amazing. Don’t get me going on the coffee. Next level. Finally…the atmosphere and people are obviously what make this place. Blown away.“

Came here with the bestie for some foodie therapy and left totally healed.

This location has been many different restaurants over the years. I’m not quite sure when Roof Taco opened however what I loved was how they opened up the top floor and gave us roof access! I don’t think any of the past restaurants have taken advantage of that.

All the servers seem to help each other with their tables, as we had many different people ask us if everything was ok. The annoying part was how many times I had to ward servers off from removing items we were still eating, from our table. It was a little overwhelming, but I did appreciate the fact that if I needed a server, I didn’t have to look far.

I’ll be honest; I can’t remember the names of everything we ate that evening, as I’m writing this review about a month out. However I took some yummy pics below and hopefully this place can stand the test of time, because I totally plan on returning!“

“I went for the first time today and will definitely be returning. I recommend the chicken quesadillas. Servers were very friendly!“

“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“The food was amazingly delicious tasty and fresh. The steak with the sauce on the side and the pastelitos were delicious. Chicharron de pollo tasted super fresh and tasty. The tres Leche was delicious as well. However, I didn’t give it 5/5 because it be perfect and it wasn’t. “This place is a hidden gem in Westchester. The best burritos since California.. the meats here are so flavorful. I loved the torta too. The Birria taco is outrageous. The broth is delicious. The younge taco, carnitas and beef tenderloin out of ten. I love how flavorful everything is and yet not salty. Fresh. Nice staff.“

“Love this hole in the wall Cafe. The worker's are pleasant and the food is superb! I never spend more than $30 for two here. Their grilled chicken in a burrito and in a bowl is to die for. Great food and great service all across the board. I can order from here at least 3-4 times a week; breakfast, lunch, and or dinner. You will never be disappointed.“

“Great food. Decent price. Very nice and helpful staff. Made me feel at home when I went in to order food for my daughter's birthday meal. Two of us had Birria tacos and one of us had a veggie burrito. We all enjoyed our food.

Vegetarian options: My daughter had the veggie burrito. She is a picky eater but she loved it.

Parking: Found a couple of empty spots on the street. It was around 5 pm during the week.“

“Honestly, I never write reviews but tonight we dined here for the second time and I had to. The food is fantastic, genuinely find my eyes rolling into the back of my head after every bite. The guacamole is outstanding and the chips and salsa are unparalleled— I mean HOT and fresh chips?! Get outtttt. The margs are great and the staff is so friendly and lovely all around. “I’m truly obsessed with this place. It’s my hidden gem in Yonkers. The food is always fresh, delicious, & made with so much care that you can taste it in every bite. My family loves it so much that they have catered several of our parties. The staff are incredibly warm & treat us like family every time we walk in, & you can see how much hard work & heart they put into running this small business. “Cannot COMPLAIN .This place has incredible food at incredible prices. I ordered birria tacos ? ( they come in a pack of 3 and consome sauce to dip) . I loved the taste , quality and quantity compared to the price ($13.50). I ordered to go so I cant rate the restaurant it self but would’ve definitely left a tip for this amazing food . “This deli is hands down one of the best around! The food is always fresh, delicious, and made exactly how you want it. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff treats you like family every time you walk in. No matter how busy they are, the service is friendly and fast. I get lunch here regularly, and they never disappoint. If you’re looking for great food and even better people, this is the place. Highly recommended—easily 5 stars!“

“Amazing family owned and operated authentic Mexican food! The Sopa de Pollo hit the spot, all made fresh, everything from scratch. Guacamole made fresh per order. Extensive menu of all the Mexican classics, Tortas, Cemitas, Sopas, Tacos, Enchiladas, Burritos, you name it. I will definitely be coming back here.“
