“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. My hubs had the steak quesadilla and chicken taco- all perfectly seasoned! Everything was better with the salsa bar. Great portion sizes. Do not sleep on the hibiscus aqua Fresca- delicious! “I finally decided to try Los Tacos No. 1 at Hudson Yards after hearing so much about it, and honestly, I don't understand all the hype.

The tacos were decent, but nothing that stood out compared to many other(Authentic) taco spots in New York City. There are plenty of places serving better tacos without the long lines and at a more reasonable price.

For one asada taco, two adobada tacos, and two sodas, the total came to about $30 before tip. Considering the portion size and overall flavor, it felt overpriced for what you get.

The food isn't bad, but in my opinion it's overhyped and overpriced. With so many great taco options throughout the city, I don't think it's worth the wait or the premium price.“

I just ordered bistec a la Mexicana. I can already taste it. But I do have to try and see what it's like. I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“
