“I've been to this Carvel before. It is large with great selections particularly of cakes, which is what I went for. I saw a sign for 'Cartwheel' sandwiches with a special Mondays through Thursdays.... buy 1 pack of 6 and get the 2nd a 1/2 off.... so I did.. a great buy. Service was very good, store is immaculate. “When I think of Carvel, I mainly think of Fudgie the Whale - everything else is secondary. Thought I reviewed this place years ago, but I was mistaken. Been coming here for years for that occasional ice cream cake, once in a while the flying saucers, or those premade little sundaes (which I like to keep in the freezer for those times in need). Never had any issues with anyone behind the counter - though it's also been the same guy for several years that I've dealt with and haven't seen anyone else. As I mentioned in the opening, the Fudgie the Whale cake is my personal favorite and I'd come here for nothing else but that if need be. If you've never had it and also like chocolate & ice cream, then you need to have it at least once. They have the typical selection in the freezers and of course you can just come in and get a cone. You can order a cake ahead of time if you need to as well. They will of course write whatever you want on the cake. Parking is street - main street is metered (and they give tickets around here). Nothing too much to say since it's Carvel and they're known for one thing. All I can type is that they've been here for many years and have always been dependable for whatever I needed.“

“Lots of flavors to choose from and they make a variety of sundaes and shakes. They even have sugar free flavors. Great place to get a sweet treat that'll help cool you off. The staff is friendly, usually teenagers, but they work efficiently. There are picnic tables set out in front of the store so you can sit and enjoy your treat if you like. The line gets very long in the summer time so I usually buy a quart of my favorite - pistachio creme ice so I don't have to go back frequently. Plenty of parking spaces, it's in a strip mall with several other stores.“

I made a note on Uber Eats to include extra sprinkles for my boyfriend who is a dr who works 24 hour shifts swimming in COVID to surprise him when he gets home (he LOVES chocolate ice cream and rainbow sprinkles). Of course, I had a preference which was The Sugar Cookie (one of a kind)...amazing! I can say that the texture was definitely better than the McDonalds cookies at most of their stores.“

Staff is friendly.The two (2) complaints that take away a star:Definitely coming back here, but not as often as I would like, because it’s kinda pricey. $30 for two (2) scoops on a cone; and 2 midsized cups.Employees need to wear restaurant caps to cover their heads when serving; specially while styling long/braided hair. I mean: I don’t want that stuff on my food.Kindly work on those, and I would consider adding the 5th STAR.“
