“Stumbled here waiting for my car at dealership. I saw the rating and was sold. We dined in. Let me tell you. Get the damn chicken quesadilla!!! It is absolutely delicious. The moment I took a bite and felt the cloudy texture of the right amount of cheese, meat and tortilla. Incredible find. Their steak burrito was filled with a boat load of meat. Highly satisfied. I’m coming here again for sure.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The guacamole was super fresh, made to order, I loved it. I also had the rice, beans and garlic shrimp and it was delicious, great flavor. The place itself is nothing special but they are busy with takeout orders and clients coming in to sit down. I will definitely return.“
“I love this restaurant I come here for breakfast lunch and dinner I order the carnitas burrito for lunch and dinner and the steak and eggs burrito for breakfast every time it is delicious and fresh. What I appreciate most is that with your burrito they give you the veggies on the side so you can eat them with the burrito and in my opinion it is amazing I frequent this place all the time I highly recommend, the staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is my favorite so I felt an obligation to get the word out. Anyways try this restaurant asap it is truly amazing and very quick as well even when eating inside I usually get my food in less than 15mins“
“This spot is small, but the food is totally worth it! Everything we tried was delicious ... Horchata, Birria French Fries with Hot Sauce, Milanesa de Res Torta, Carne Adobada Torta, Tres Leches Pancakes, and Churros French Toast. Seating is their only problem, with about 9-10 seats at their counter and two tables that can seat only two people. So if you're small party, it works or do take out (which was humming). Definitely look forward to going back!“

“The food is really good here! We grabbed dinner at Tecalitlan last Monday while in New Rochelle. Three of us sat at one of the tables. It looks like mainly a takeout spot with many locals stopping in, but there were a couple of dine-in patrons while we were there also. Our waitress was so friendly and hospitable. Good vibes. She greeted us when we entered and took care of us, especially with my husband's dietary needs (vegetarian). We ordered nachos and guacamole to share. I went with enchiladas rojas (chicken). Other orders were enchiladas verde (cheese) and a variety of tacos. We left happy with full bellies. You know a place is good when there are multiple hot sauce options on the table, and they bring out a bunch of squeeze-bottle salsas with your food. If you are in New Rochelle and are looking for delicious authentic Mexican food, try this this casual eatery. A great spot!“
“I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN! I was very pleased with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The highlight is the guacamole and how the waiter makes it at the table right in front of you. I had the steak fajitas and it was delicious. I didn’t order a drink but the presentation of the drinks looked amazing. I’m not local to New Rochelle, but it was very much worth the trip from The Bronx. Prices were also reasonable.“
“The owner of this restaurant, Victor, is the main star here. I have never met a restaurant owner that has shown such incredible hospitality like Victor has. He is incredible and the main reason we will always come back. The food is outstanding as well. The shrimp enchiladas are my go to every time. The shrimp is always cooked perfectly and cut into small pieces which I love. The sauce on the enchiladas is so flavorful and delicious that I dip my chips in it as well. My boyfriend loves the burrito! He gets it every time as well. The restaurant is cozy and has a rei Mexican authentic feel to it. We're so grateful to have Victor and his amazing restaurant so close to us!“
