“We have picked up food for take out a number of times. We took our family here for dinner and greatly enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance!

Celiac friendly!! They were very knowledgeable on gluten free needs for our daughter and make many gluten free options!

Daniel was our server. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience….. Especially for a family with dietary needs, the restaurant experience can be difficult….not here!!

The food was delicious! Our daughter loves the chicken wings, and we had tacos, the burger, and Mexican salad. All food was wonderful! Definitely will be going back!

For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “Hungry looking around for a place not too pricey to have a quick made me come across this little Mexican restaurant.
Nice atmosphere with Banda music which is classic to Mexican restaurants (I don't mind it as long as it's not too loud)
Our waiter was a kind gentleman. He could've been a tad more attentive in refilling chips or just give updates from the kitchen but, I'm not really bothered.
Food was delicious it just took a good minute for us to get it.
Things to note: no parking, they charge extra for paying with a card.
Overall, I will probably come back. Just because new York is too large to explore. You really need to make a good impression to have repeat customers without seeing other options first.“

“This place was so good my family enjoyed it so much and they move fast to get you your food. they made sure we where ok and loved everything. the bathrooms where also very nice inside. I recommend taking a little dookie in there. Overall I love this place and will come again.

“So I only gave it a four, because even though they have some quesadillas that are made or corn like it is done traditionally they do sell a lot of Tex Mex style dishes . Their tacos of carnitas are pretty good. But I tried also their Al pastor tacos and they were a little bland. The sauces were awesome!“

Just Halal is an honest place for eating, staffs answers all questions & makes sure customers were happy.

From the minute you walk in the door , you are greeted & treated with absolutely nothing but great energy . “This was a genuinely positive experience. This was the best mexican cuisine I've had in a while and the prices were amazing. I got a carne asada bowl for $14 that was large enough for dinner and lunch. I never write reviews but I felt compelled to because of how small the establishment is. The service is great and they genuinely deserve more business for the cuisine they offer at the price they offer. Significantly better than competitors (chipotle, qdoba) at the same, if not lower, price!

Parking: Side of the building in the shopping strip, usually open and not busy. Several free lots around if parking isn't available- all in walking distance.“

The order was double checked on the phone but when we received the order we had one different item. Called and spoke with someone who said “that’s what you ordered”. Then spoke with the person who took my order the first time and she said we must’ve gotten the wrong item by mistake that she would fix it and we’d get it asap. When the driver arrived he asked us to pay we then had to explain the situation to him and hand him back the torta that we had already opened and touched (gross but I can see why they’d do it). The steak from the special taco was amazing on its own but with the tortilla it’s flavor was underwhelming. 7/10. In my UNPROFESSIONAL opinion, the food was not all that flavorful nor outstanding given the prices of each taco the food was disappointing but I really love the actual setting and the workers who are extremely patient and kind.
