“This place is a hidden gem. We were looking for place to make our go to spot. Once my foodie fiance tasted the catfish it was goto spot approved. The service is outstanding as they took very good care of us. The food is very tasty and nicely seasoned. We will be back.“

“We came here with family visiting from Florida. Everyone had a great time. Not only was the food excellent but an added bonus, we enjoyed life music with Tres Del Solar. Our waiter, Luis Angel kept filling our cups and was very attentive to us. Gret service.“

“If I could give an extra half a star I would definitely give this place a 4.5! I love the idea of a locally owned fish market in the area, however this review is more for the cooked menu and food options.
This market use to close its kitchen closer to 5/5:30pm a few years ago, but recently it changed to “Kitchen closes 30 minutes before store closes” and that makes getting a meal from there much more accessible! I have no idea if this is a permanent change but I really hope it is.
The fried food is actually really well seasoned and cooked. The fish didn’t taste dry at all and I honestly didn’t even need the tartar sauce. The french fries were pretty good too. Their “Lunch Combo” was still available at 5pm and my meal came to just over $13. I’m no expert on the fish market, but getting 2 big fillets of Whiting already cooked with fries under $15 feels really good.
The staff was very nice and friendly. Despite what other reviews would lead you to believe, it was very pleasant to talk to them and they were very patient with me as I made my decision of what to order.
The reason for the half star off is the atmosphere. My issue is there’s just “stuff” everywhere. The food displays are fine, but underneath them are just boxes of containers and equipment. I don’t know about you, but I feel a little uneasy seeing the containers I’m going to be eating out of being stored on the floor. Granted they’re still sealed in the box, but the view is a bit unpleasant to me. They also use wooden pallets on the floors behind the counters. I can understand if they need a new platform for the staff to reach over counters, but I would assume untreated wood inside a moist fish market would attract mold somewhere. Now again I’m no expert and maybe this isn’t a real issue, but those are my thoughts as I wait for my food to be done.“

The first time we tried it, the food disappointed us, but Kim assured us that their food is usually quite good so we returned… and returned, and returned, and returned. “Good cheap full service fast food spot. Not just only fried chicken but cheeseburgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, desserts, fish, and much more. They're open longer than the other stores that sell hot food in the area and the staff are friendly. I hope they stay as many businesses have closed over the years.“

“I came here for a Sunday Lunch with my family and we were beyond satisfied with our experience here. The staff is completely friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. Our server was very nice and she made sure all our food arrived as ordered and was very consistent with checking up on us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality Italian food at an affordable price. They also have outdoor seating which is also an option!!“

“I’m not sure why everyone is complaining about the amount of food and price. This is what I got for $20 as a large, and it definitely filled me up and I still had leftovers! They are the only place I get my oxtails from, customer service is great, the ladies are always pleasant when I walk in to order or when I call in.“

“Wow food here was delicious and fresh. Now this waiter Alberto is in dieing need of professional classes cuz his attitude was really bad. If it wasn't that tip was mandatory I would have never tipped him. It's because of him that they couldn't get from me five stars straight down 👎👇“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“
