Sometimes all a girl wants is some oysters! I’ve been eyeing this place for awhile when visiting the city and finally took a chance to go. Very classy inside with a nice bar off to the left. I did one of each oyster and they were every bit worth the price briny, meaty and ohh so good. I really enjoyed just myself, my oysters and a little happy dance after each bite. If you like fresh and quality look no further this is the spot. I was able to walk in, get a table and get down to business.“

“Really enjoyed our dinner there, it was a client dinner with 11 people, we had a choice of soup or salad as well as main course, appys and sides were served family style so we got to try a lot of dishes. Everything was excellent especially the lobster pops, seafood tower as fresh as can be. My wifes filet and lobster tail perfect. I had a strip which is not my favorite cut, nor is a filet but it was delicious. Sides great, especially the truffle mac n cheese. Deserts were great as was service. Will definitely come back“

Looking back, it’s such a shame that we had a late lunch earlier that day, because I wasn’t very hungry and only ordered a salad and the Peruvian rice with prawns, which is actually listed as a side dish.
But wow… what a surprise! My salad was absolutely delicious — without a doubt the best salad I’ve had in New York. You could taste every individual vegetable; everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. And the Peruvian rice with prawns was simply amazing. I enjoyed every single bite.
Paired with a nice glass of Chardonnay, it was the perfect meal.

“We’re always skeptical of chain restaurants, but estiatorio Milo Hudson Yards is a notable exception, delivering an outstanding dining experience.

This upscale restaurant offers a high-end menu. You pay for the ultra-fresh ingredients, vibrant ambiance, magnificent panoramic view of the Vessel with a sunset backdrop, and superior service.

Our server, ILIR#636SER, was amazing. He was super attentive and professional, escorting us to the open-air ice bar seafood station. He explained every item in detail and provided great suggestions from their extensive wine list.

Every staff member, from the entrance to the manager, was extremely friendly and respectful, even to our long-distance friends, who had just landed from an ultra-long-haul flight, dressed in relaxed clothing with a cap. They didn’t feel uncomfortable at all!

My favorites were the rice noodle rolls wrapped with tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and preserved radish, Thai beef stew and the Panang short ribs. The beef stew was SO tender and collagen rich, literally every bite was melt in your mouth. Short ribs, also as expected, tender and flavorful. “Took my visiting sister there on a Tuesday evening. She was taken aback by the level of service that made us feel like VIPs! After getting a great window seat, my Sis jokingly said, "How romantic, too bad I'm here with my brother". Our gorgeous server Michelle was spectacular. She made multiple trips to the bar to find 'just the right wine' for my sister's particular taste and made two special requests to the kitchen on our behalf. Michelle's calming presence and 'in the moment' attitude made us feel very special. Being an intellectual herself, Michelle engaged with us most excellently in conversation. I've had a few nice meals before at the Chart House, but this by far was the best experience ever thanks to Michelle.“

We were young and loved the energy the place exuded. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting up with a new colleague for happy hour and it did not disappoint. “My brutal procrastination finally caught up with me, so I’m only now getting around to posting something I should’ve written at the start of the year.

This is where we had our New Year's Eve dinner on Dec 31, 2025. The total came to nearly 3,000 USD for three people, which included three tasting menus, a pretty nice bottle of wine, an extra order of Hokkaido uni, which was absolutely delicious, and the tip.

The restaurant is tucked inside a supermarket, which was kind of interesting. The atmosphere and setting were pretty good, with an open kitchen, and the staff were polite as well.

As for the food, I’d say it was decent but nothing that special. The overall quality was fine, but it felt overly fussy and trying too hard. Flavor wise, it didn’t go for that clean, natural kind of profile. It leaned heavier and more muddled instead. Most of the dishes were a bit too rich and greasy for me, which just isn’t my thing. To be honest, the two Michelin stars felt a little overrated.

One other thing that annoyed me, and this is different from most other restaurants, was that the deposit you pay doesn’t get deducted automatically from the final bill. They charge you the full amount first, then refund the deposit about a week later. Since I used a Canadian credit card and the exchange rate was swinging pretty hard around New Year’s, I ended up losing a bit of money for no good reason.

So overall, it wasn’t a particularly enjoyable experience, though I wouldn’t say it was terrible either.

“A lunch outing with my brother and sister-in-law turned into a nice dining experience. We chose Greek over Italian and ended up in the Aegean Estiatorio in Park Ridge.
The personal and professional experience was divine and the food was fresh and deliciously prepared. We share the spanakopita and enjoyed the delicate texture. Roasted beets and feta cheese salad was a winner. Our entrees for lunch was a delicious chicken souvlaki with a very fresh house salad. The generous portion moussaka was blended well and deliciously prepared. Do not pass up the the creamy custard Ekmek Kataifi dessert topped off with a cappuccino. Looking forward to return for a seafood dinner.

In my defense, doesn't this mean my review of Le Petit Pecheur (which always makes me think of George Bizet's underrated opera, for all you Romantic Era nerds) wil be...purer? No annoying comparisons and such?

I digress. We came, we seafood-ed, we smiled.

- Fried Sardines: My favorite dish of the night. Perfectly breaded, lightly crispy, totally filling, yet not briney or heavy. I think I'm in love....

- Baba Ganoush + Hummus + Pita: I forget why we ordered these, but they were tasty and creamy and made a nice distraction while we waited for our entrees.

- Grilled Octopus: Perfectly chewy and zesty, exactly the kind of poulpe you might enjoy on the beachy coast of the southern Mediterranean.

- Scallops: Also well cooked, and tastier than they had any right to be considering the simple seasoning.

- Shrimp Linguine in butter garlic sauce: I mean, you really can't go wrong with a dish like this. My only regret was having to share it with five other friends.

- Branzino: Butterflied, tender and full of flavor. There are many branzino dishes out there. This one won't break the bank, and will leave both your stomach and your wallet happy.

If you need more, definitely pad your meal with Mashed Potatoes and Fries because carbs are happy things, and happy things deserve to be eaten.

Space is ample, as are the portions, and service is quick and friendly. They play a lovely mix of North African French and Arabic music, which just adds to the beachy resort town atmosphere, IMO. Perhaps one day I'll finally make it to Abuqir, and the cycle will be complete.“

“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. “The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

The food tasted like when you go to a fish market and you get steamed food and though that can be good that's not what you expect when you go to shaking crab. The butter and garlic sauce was very thin and just had butter and garlic And it was very oily, I don't even think it was real butter. We had to ask for seasoning. But it wasn't the same. at all. Also they kept omitting items out of our food When we dined in. And, We had a to go order and we paid for eggs and noodles and when we got home we found out it wasn't there. So I'm going to give shake and crab another go but it will have to be in Brooklyn. Because the one that was in Harlem has permanently closed and when I tell you, that's sauce? superb! If the owner or manager is reading this please go back to the original. I understand that you are probably mostly around white people and they like to complain about things being too spicy but you're going to lose business that way. The people that like your food will come. But if you change what you're known for. It's ultimately going to be your demise.“
