Make My Fish is a restaurant that serves delicious food, with fish that is fried perfectly crispy and seasoned. The catfish and jumbo shrimp are popular choices, and the catfish dinner comes with Mac and cheese and collard greens. The Mac and cheese tastes like Thanksgiving, and the greens are vinegar based and really good, tasting like smoke meat. The shrimp were a little bland for one customer. The sides were spot on, with the best collard greens ever had. The fry is crispy and tasty and so delicious. The food is cooked to order, which you certainly don't see anymore. The staff is friendly, and there is plenty of parking outside. This is a take out with a counter if you want to eat it there. The beverages taste like granny's Sunday dinner drinks. One customer is a Southerner and says this is the best fried fish north of their Georgia roots. Another customer loves Make My Fish on 116th and is glad to see them expand into an area where we don't often see many Black-owned and operated businesses. The food is always delicious. One customer's favorite take-out for shrimp loves them, but please stop being so cheap with the tartar sauce. Food 5 Stars, Service 5 Stars, Ambiance 5 Stars.
