The first time I went there was after I had taken care of the brother of the owner while at St. Vincent’s.
I held onto the card for quite a bit but went there one Friday night and presented it to the waiter—-the meal was so good. I enjoyed the meal and the history of the place.

Reliable and popular NY style pizza. Their white pizza and margherita pizza were both balanced in flavor and texture. The plates are a bit small for the pizzas.
This is the penultimate new York Pizza experience. Be aware, this is nearly 100 years old and shows the wear and tear of a pizza establishment. With names, initials and words of wisdom carved into the walls, and don't look up at the ceiling for the dust. You will be rewarded with the best pizza in New York, with fast and friendly service. Expect a line out the door to get in. I've been coming here for 30 years and will be back when ever I visit NYC.
