Beautiful experience in NYC. Felt like I was in Italy again. Comfortable and charming restaurant filled with welcoming locals offering suggestions on their favorites. I enjoyed a stuffed artichoke with a delicious butter broth for dipping, sea bass with leeks and a bowl of house-made pasta. Taking half back to the hotel. We randomly wandered in here for lunch and were so pleased with the experience from start to finish. The food was affordable, fantastic, and the service was great. Such a cute, hole in the wall place. Very romantic too!

This is my go-to Italian restaurant in the West Village. The service is always attentive and friendly. The menu is reliable, warming and specializes in shellfish/fish, though meat is available. The wine list has many reputable wines all under $75. The mixed vegetable Antipasto Della Casa is a good plate to share as a starter. Daily specials are abundant. Seafood risotto is superb. I usually ask them to make me Shrimp Fra Diavolo, not on the menu. See you soon. ?
