“I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“A while back, I started what seemed to be a bagel war on Facebook about another bagel shop in town 😂😂😂 Well, a lot of people in the comments told me to try International Hot Bagels… and yeah, they were right!
The bagels are so much better… fresh, hot and delicious! The service was great, the food was great, and the prices were actually reasonable (which is rare these days). I’ve ordered a couple of times now & I’ve been highly satisfied.
10/10 recommend! Go give them a try.

“The food was OK! Just about the same flare & hoopla as Bloomfield Bagels. The only thing I enjoyed more was that the bacon was definitely delicious. Cooked just the way I liked it, and my sandwich had plenty. I just figured nowadays you would get more bang for your bucks, no, you don't. It seems that my egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich was all bread, 1 egg, 1 slice of cheese, and 2-3 strips of ?. For the price of the sandwich, I expected more. So I'll just stick to Bloomfield Bagels. “The food and service is always on point. I live in Brooklyn but love to stop here whenever I’m in the city or when I’m showing visitors around. I’ve had the avocado toast, the rueben benedict (a must), salmon benedict and the ranchero (brisket dish) and it all hits!! I have yet to try the lunch menu but it’s just the perfect breakfast spot. “Nana’s Deli has recently rebranded as the first and only sourdough bagel shop in Jersey City. They use sourdough starter from my favorite neighborhood bakery, Sourdough Society.

Each bagel is made fresh daily. Their sourdough bagels have a light crisp on the outside and a soft, pillowy center. They’re chewy without being tough, so they won’t break your jaw.

I’ve been picking up sourdough loaves regularly from Sourdough Society, located right inside Nana’s Bagel. Truly some of my favorite sourdough around!

My favorite! I love an open-faced bagel, and the sourdough base made it even better. The lox was perfectly savory, layered over a generous swipe of scallion cream cheese with red onion and capers. Truly a chef's kiss.

A plain bagel loaded with cream cheese inside, then topped with melted cheese and garlic butter. So simple but SO good. What really made the visit stand out was the service. The owner came by to greet us personally, which was such a nice touch, and even let us try their coconut pound cake. They also have a parking lot, which makes it super convenient. “We visited the place last Saturday. The cheese bread is fresh but not really the bagels we got. We waited so long ; we found out that my daughter’s order was given to someone else but they did not care to replace it at once. When we asked about our order, that’s the time they rushed to prepare it , in less than five minutes, the sandwich was handed to us. When we were in the car since we’re already late for our next appointment, my daughter found out that the replacement was wrong. She paid for plain bagel with double eggs, bacon, and cheese but she was given with plain bagel with cheese only. They asked for our phone number but did not initiate the call. I hope they will do better in their team work.“

“I don't even know a very good breakfast restaurant in Manhattan as good as this one. There are always 3 mammacitas, who know how to prepare your breakfast, brunch or lunch. The 3-omelettes platters with their varieties give you evergy and a smile throughout the whole day!“

Luckily, people are coming and going so it took around 5 minutes to attain a parking spot. From speaking to a patron, I understand because he told me that he always walks to the place. So on a nice day, I suppose the outdoor seating is great. Inside and I'm in a line. Probably about 8 people ahead of me. I'm already thinking that these bagels must be damn good. Took about 10 minutes until I put my order in. In total I spent about 25 minutes at this spot. As I'm leaving, there are more people in line than when I got there. Just from seeing the bagels, they look soft and fresh. Just happy to have found the place. I get home and the bagels are just as good as they look. This clean bagel shop comes highly recommended and will be back! Great job guys!“
