“Been going there since Middle School. I love the food and the portions they have it is a good price for a portion and the staff there are lovely people.

Dietary restrictions: I have some dietary restrictions such as no cheese or no tomatoes and I know how weird tomatoes are to have as a dietary restriction but they accommodate and or at least tell you what to avoid eating.

Parking: Parking spots I think there is 2 infant of the location 3 across the lot and below the street on the side where the location is there is probably 4

Kid-friendliness: It has a table to keep the kids calm as well as these coin machines and I've seen once where they helped a lady who had a baby stroller sit and help her with a chair as well put the baby stroller away so it wouldn't disturb the other customers.“

“Ok. So I've seen good and bad reviews. Maybe it's all about what time you go there. I popped my head in this establishment around 6:30am. The bagels were fresh. I'm use to a higher standard of eggs but you can't expect much here. Kind of felt like a truck stop. A good amount of people seem to stop there on their way to work/school. Being what is it, it's decent. Spots like this are all over the place in New Jersey. But like I said, the bagels were fresh. Not a large verity of items to pick from when it comes to drinks, potatoes chips, candy bars, etc. Funny part, they wanted $8 for 3 Snapples. I'm like, what is the exact price for one... It was too early and I was in a rush so I just paid and left. Not a plane that I would recommend.“

Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. “I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“I stopped into Knead a Bagel this morning and had to leave a review because it was honestly one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Rima offered to make me a special lox bagel, and wow was it good. I’ve had a lot of lox bagels, but this was genuinely the best one I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced.. the right amount of lox, cream cheese, and toppings. Nothing was overwhelming and nothing was lacking. Every bite was perfect.

“We visited the place last Saturday. The cheese bread is fresh but not really the bagels we got. We waited so long ; we found out that my daughter’s order was given to someone else but they did not care to replace it at once. When we asked about our order, that’s the time they rushed to prepare it , in less than five minutes, the sandwich was handed to us. When we were in the car since we’re already late for our next appointment, my daughter found out that the replacement was wrong. She paid for plain bagel with double eggs, bacon, and cheese but she was given with plain bagel with cheese only. They asked for our phone number but did not initiate the call. I hope they will do better in their team work.“

I've been coming here for about 13 years.. and although this isnt the most ultra modern bagel place... it is the coziest and friendliest 🥯 bagel place in bayridge. And watching the bagels boil as the steam rises, watching them get hosed down and then sprinkled with sesame seeds, poppy seeds and other toppings and then get sent into the oven to get baked is amazing. Visiting H&L would make for a great school trip!! Definitely a place to stop by!!!“
