I have NEVER seen bagels so big and Fluffy. I was in Staten Island to go to Cherubini. On the way back out, I decided to stop and get a few bagels to commemorate my visit to S.I. and my leaving NY. I'm a Queens baby so we have bagels but these were BAGELS!! I literally cleaned them out. The you first gentleman than was bagging my bagels gave me. a purpose to smile that day. Best bagels in NY. Live in the city but often travel to SI whenever anywhere near it to get their bagels. Owners always take care of me and give discounts ON TOP OF the free bagels. have never been disappointed. Everyone I know has tried one when I buy some and they all give me orders to place now. definitely worth the trip!

Used to be 24 hour hot bagels and amazing ones too! Now they are out of bagels by 2pm and don't make any more. It hurts to move this down from 5 stars gold standard but that's the truth. Still a fantastic bagel. But now heartland is my first choice. They really should not have "bagel" in the store name and a sign outside saying "24 hours" if they are going to run out and not make any more after lunch.
