“I had a delicious bacon, egg and cheese with some coffee. Recommended by a friend, and it was exactly what I wanted. A small Mom and Pop deli. I picked up some almond cookies, for later, because I couldn't resist them! Try Florence's for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“

“I come here every morning, the food slapss (slang for soooo good), i got a spanish burrito with jalapenos and comes with homefries and it did not disappoint!

They are always friendly! They know my usual order already and its clean and i've never had a bad experience. My iced coffee with caramel, cream and sugar always taste good. And they're not skimpy either LOL and very well priced! Your not spending $10 on a coffee and bagel! Hopefully they can continue to keep good prices because itd be a shame to see them go.

“We live in Harrison and have spent months trying to find a quality bagel place that also serves a French toast bagel. I’ve been eating Taylor ham egg&cheese on a French toast bagel for 20 years from various places in North Jersey. This morning we ordered from B&B the first time via UberEats and I had what I’m fairly certain is the best French toast bagel I’ve ever had. I’mglad I accidentally ordered 2. This is going to become our go-to for THEC bagels. Thank you!!“

“Clean, fast, terrific selection. Easy in and out parking. Had good old egg and sausage on a roll = best I’ve ever had. Great coffee, offered 1/2 and 1/2 self serve. No waiting in line. Make it while they make your sandwich. If I commuted this would be my every morning spot.“

“Awesome place for bagels, especially super early before a flight because they are open 24 hours. Also right next to a subway entrance so very conveniently located. Didn’t try anything else on the menu. We went here twice during our stay in Manhattan. Friendly service especially whoever was there the first time, didn’t catch a name. I had an everything bagel with lox and a cream cheese bagel with bacon. Both very good“

Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. This is just an example of what sets Ben's apart from most places. “I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“The quality of the bagels at the “new” Court Street Bagels are still excellent but everything else is not how it used to be. It is much nicer inside due to a major renovation that was done, but it is more like a factory now than a neighborhood bagel store. The workers are nice enough, but under the previous ownership, the workers knew everyone’s name and it was a significantly better, albeit very long, experience. Despite having 5x as many workers now, the wait times are better, but still curiously long for very simple orders. It is extremely crowded on weekend mornings which definitely contributes to the wait times so definitely be prepared to wait at least 10 to 20 minutes at those times. If this review was only based on the food, I’d give the new Court Street Bagels 5 stars, but given the full experience it’s closer to 4.5 stars. At the end of the day, despite the change in ownership, the bagels are still some of the best in the city.“

“A must-try bagel spot in Manhattan.

Apollo Bagels is often recommended as one of the best places for bagels in New York, so we had to check it out.

We ordered the smoked salmon everything bagel, and it was absolutely delicious.

The bagel is made with sourdough, which makes it slightly less chewy than a traditional bagel, but I really liked the flavor and seasoning. It also looked beautiful—just as good visually as it tasted. It is served like an open face sandwich.

I do wish they had been a bit more generous with the smoked salmon.

That said, Apollo Bagels is definitely worth a visit. You’re very likely to enjoy it.“

“I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

Rima offered to make me a special lox bagel, and wow was it good. I’ve had a lot of lox bagels, but this was genuinely the best one I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced.. the right amount of lox, cream cheese, and toppings. Nothing was overwhelming and nothing was lacking. Every bite was perfect.

What really stood out, though, was Rima herself. She was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming. You can tell she cares about the food she’s making and the people she’s serving. She completely made my morning and turned a quick breakfast stop into something memorable.
