“I stopped into Knead a Bagel this morning and had to leave a review because it was honestly one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Rima offered to make me a special lox bagel, and wow was it good. I’ve had a lot of lox bagels, but this was genuinely the best one I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced.. the right amount of lox, cream cheese, and toppings. Nothing was overwhelming and nothing was lacking. Every bite was perfect.

What really stood out, though, was Rima herself. She was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming. You can tell she cares about the food she’s making and the people she’s serving. She completely made my morning and turned a quick breakfast stop into something memorable.

Great food is one thing, but great food made by genuinely kind people is what keeps you coming back. Thank you, Rima, for the amazing bagel and for starting my day off on such a good note. I’ll definitely be back!“

“I try to come here every week. It's nice to have just a "normal" deli in town, especially on the west side. (As you can see from my reviews, I'm not a fan of hype over practicality ?). Staff is friendly and they get to know you, and care about you as their customer. Bagels are good of course - and I like that their burgers are not huge. It's silly, but I got excited when they started selling rainbow bagels. Prices are reasonable given the state of prices in general. It's much better coming here for a normal meal than paying for an expensive restaurant on Park Ave.“

“They have SO much of my money, LOL. It's my favorite bagel place on the planet, despite the very unusual (and sometimes forgetful, I hate to admit) service style. Your order will start and finish with the same employee. Personally, I rather like this style of service because I really get to interact with the staff in a more one-on-one way (I like feeling like I'm NOT moving down a line of human automatons like Chipotle). There are times, however, I wish it was just faster and less friendly, LOL. The owner, Olga, is the sweetest woman in the world. She decorates for every holiday and always looks her best. I also love that she works just the same as every other employee; she doesn't manage from afar. I always get the impression her employees love her, too, especially since many of the workers have been there FOREVER. THE BAGELS ARE THE BEST! The texture, the stretch, the size, the flavor: all the best. They have some deli products too, so a great place for lunch as well. Order a taylor ham, egg, and cheddar cheese on a toasted and buttered everything bagel with salt and pepper. Or you can order my other favorite: scallion cream cheese, lox, and extra red onion on a salt bagel (not toasted). When I am not in the tri-state area, THIS is the breakfast I miss the most. When people visit me, THIS is where I take them. The cinnamon rolls are also excellent. They are not made in-house, but are made locally and are amazing.“

“We went directly here after eating at the Cafe because I had my heart set on an onion bagel, and possibly a garlic bagel. The Cafe didn't have either option but I needed them in my life. So we walked over right after. Super cute small spot. Beautiful smoked fish in the cases, amazing cream cheese options. I so wanted the caviar cream cheese, but we just ate and we were gonna be walking around for a few hours. So I got 2 onion and 2 garlic bagels. They thought we was nuts not wanting anything done with them. Like I said I just needed them gonna enjoy it tomorrow morning as our Great American Road Trip continues to Boston. Personally next time.. I'd go to this original location, more variety, of bagels and cream cheese, but no seating. So pick what works for you but definitely Go! 100% recommend.“

“Amazing hot and fresh bagels. I stopped in here just to get my wife a bagel. I had every intention of getting a deli sandwich elsewhere. However, I took one bite of her everything bagel and OMG. This was hot and doughy and simply delicious. I ended up ordering an everything bagel with salmon and cream cheese. This was easily one of the best bagels I have ever eaten. On top of that the staff were very friendly. They were not just friendly to me but to all of the customers that came in while I was sitting at the counter eating my slice of heaven. This is a great place to get a bagel.“

“Utopia Bagels is definitely one of the best bagel places in New York, and after my visit, I can understand why it's so highly rated.

The bagels were fresh, delicious, and lived up to the hype. But what impressed me even more was the staff. They were always smiling, friendly, and more than happy to help, especially for first-time customers who weren't familiar with the menu. They patiently explained the different options without making us feel rushed.

To be honest, this kind of genuine customer service is becoming harder to find, especially in a busy metropolitan city like New York. It really made the whole experience even better.

Apollo Bagels is often recommended as one of the best places for bagels in New York, so we had to check it out.

We ordered the smoked salmon everything bagel, and it was absolutely delicious.

The bagel is made with sourdough, which makes it slightly less chewy than a traditional bagel, but I really liked the flavor and seasoning. It also looked beautiful—just as good visually as it tasted. It is served like an open face sandwich.

I do wish they had been a bit more generous with the smoked salmon.

That said, Apollo Bagels is definitely worth a visit. You’re very likely to enjoy it.“

“I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“The quality of the bagels at the “new” Court Street Bagels are still excellent but everything else is not how it used to be. It is much nicer inside due to a major renovation that was done, but it is more like a factory now than a neighborhood bagel store. The workers are nice enough, but under the previous ownership, the workers knew everyone’s name and it was a significantly better, albeit very long, experience. Despite having 5x as many workers now, the wait times are better, but still curiously long for very simple orders. It is extremely crowded on weekend mornings which definitely contributes to the wait times so definitely be prepared to wait at least 10 to 20 minutes at those times. If this review was only based on the food, I’d give the new Court Street Bagels 5 stars, but given the full experience it’s closer to 4.5 stars. At the end of the day, despite the change in ownership, the bagels are still some of the best in the city.“

“I live down the street and Bagel Bob is my go to bagel spot in the area. The team is efficient, friendly, and overall lovely! The bagels are great and the coffee is too.

In addition to a multitude of bagel flavors, they have Hazelnut and French vanilla iced coffee flavors too. Love supporting local!

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“34th Bagels & More was one of our favorite bagel spots during our time in Midtown Manhattan. While in New York we made it a point to have bagels every day, and this place definitely delivered that classic NYC bagel experience. Located right in Midtown, it’s a great quick stop whether you’re heading out for the day or grabbing breakfast before exploring the city.

The shop had a nice local neighborhood feel with a huge selection of fresh bagels, spreads, breakfast options, sandwiches, and coffee. I went with the onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, and it was perfect. The bagel was fresh, soft on the inside with a nice chewy texture, and the onion flavor really stood out. The jalapeño cream cheese added just the right amount of spice and creaminess without overpowering the bagel.

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“
