“Food was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was the best food we've had but definitely far from the worst. Maybe it was because we came in pretty late in the evening but we enjoyed the food. “Came to this place not knowing what to expect but saw lots of great reviews and I can absolutely say it lived up to its ratings. Me and the fam got to try the tenders(hugee), ribs, rotisserie chicken, burgers, general tsos and chopped cheese sandwich and OH MY was it DELICIOUS. The people here were also very friendly and accommodating, they also had good music playing in the background. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone in or out of town. I will be coming back for more as it seems they updated their menu with some great new stuff that I can't wait to try. “Be Well is one of my favorite spots in the area. Food is actually healthy and made fresh to order. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. They remember faces and names. And the outdoor seating, plants and flowers, and park across the street is perfect. Eating here makes me feel good. My faves are the green goddess salad, the black bean wrap, California wrap, and the Moroccan lentil and the cauliflower chickpea curry. Parking or pulling up for a takeout order are also both very easy since it's away from the congested business district of Rutherford.”

“I used to live in the area ; was up visiting family and I stumbled on this place by way of an IG reel so I figured I would give it a try because (a)-it was the Friday that NJ experienced a 4.8 earthquake and I most certainly didn't think I was in the right headspace to do any cooking and (b)-this place was literally 1 mile away from my mother's house so I figured I'd pay the extra overhead and have it delivered because it was so close.Let's get the con out of the way; despite me putting my address in and stating where I lived the food was never delivered. I received prompt notifications on my phone about it being almost ready & that it was on its way..but I literally was standing in front of the single family residence and received a text that my food was delivered but it wasn't. Not the best first impression..When I called the establishment Chelf Salty communicated his dismay and stated he would remake my order for in person pick-up; I appreciated his effort to make this right so I agreed.I'm glad I did.I ordered the spicy miso ramen, the tori katsu ramen, and the stamina ramen (was sharing with mom).The spicy miso ramen has a nice kick, the ramen noodles have a good chew and the pork confit was silky. Katsu ramen and stamina ramen though brothless had great balance of flavor between the amazingly dressed noodles (again nice kick in heat/flavor that wasn't blindingly spicy), perfect jammy eggs and the the chicken katsu was DIVINE..perfectly crisp..juicy..and again..great balance of flavor in the chicken.If you don't feel like getting in your car to drive to a ramen place and just want to tuck into some yummy ramen at home do give this place a try..I'm glad I did. Is it the best ramen I have ever had in my life? No..but I think it holds its own with the other ramen places in Essex county and again..I think it's a great option for the peeps that live in Nutley/Belleville area that just want to tuck into some good comfort food that isn't pizza or mexican-give it a shot!”

“I’ve been here on multiple occasions and the food is always delicious and fresh. It’s so good, I would compare it to my grandmother’s cooking. The gentleman who’s typically the waiter is very nice and recommends the best dishes. The staff in general is very welcoming. I read through the reviews and have this to say: if you don’t understand true Mexican cuisine, culture and ambience, go to this restaurant and find out for yourself. It’s an experience, it’s something Rutherford needed, and it will be my new favorite spot. Taste is subjective but it’s clear some people don’t understand the hard work and effort that goes behind making this place possible. Keep up the good work Nacho Libre team! “All of these old school Gyro shops are closing their doors. Proper Greek gyro on the pit, very fresh, delicious, quick and for a fair price. Worth the trip down from Mahwah now and again. The staff is very friendly and the place is small and very clean.”

“Let me start with the constructive feedback- and if you are still reading based on the scoring- you clearly want to try this place. -Wish there was a more accessible entry- not stroller friendly. -Wish some of their dishes came with sauce to dip in since a lot of it is finger friendly. -Wish their menu didnt label all the seafood items as vegetarian. Now the good, because a little bit of lifting and asking can help with the above! Service was amazing. Our server was super informative and guided us on our culinary excursion. Szechuan Ravioli- spicy vinaigrette so may be a little on the sour side for some, nice crisp on the outside Fried Rice- serviceable, not much to it Impossible Duck Bun - vegetarian, nice flavor profile and a good bite Vegetable Bowl - lots of veggies and a choice of noodles or rice. Get the noodles. Shanghai Wontons- we ordered this last but we should have done this first... and in multiples. My fav dish because I am a sucker for spicy peanut sauce. Spicy Vegetable Bun- also a great bun, cant go wrong with any of them really. Nice sauté on the vegetables and great flavor. If you made it this far....go! Get those shanghai wontons to start and see where your journey takes you!”

“To start off, the Atmosphere is really nice. The service is amazing as well. Whatever I asked, for it is brought to me. The pizza is really delightful. There are also deserts like ice cream Sweet pizzas. I think you should really come to this place you will not regret it!!”

“Was here on a Thursday for lunch and it was good. Their seared salmon appetizer was good. They torched it and added a smokey flavor to it which was great for me since I like the smokey flavor. The ramen was spicy but good and the Domodachi Lunch set was abundant and good. Parking wasn't bad for a weekday and service was prompt.”

“Really cool, hip spot in Caldwell for good Peruvian food. Our server knew exactly what to recommend as well when we asked about the specials, entrees, and appetizers. We had ceviche as a appetizer as well as some Maduros and they were quite tasty. I really enjoyed my main entree which was a Mofongo saltado which adds a nice Dominican fusion/flair to it. For dessert I went with the flan and espresso and I feel like you can't go wrong with that choice. My friends had the tres leches and they mentioned it was super tasty too. Not too many seats in the restaurant so make sure to call ahead and make a reservation.”

“I truly love this place, their sandwiches and artichoke salad are so good. Unfortunately their prices continually go up, and it’s become hard to justify $25 for a salad, I will still get it every once in awhile as a treat, but my once $13 go to sandwich is now up to $18 ?”

“I'd been coming here for years then stopped during covid. When I came back recently, the staff remembered me and was very friendly and thankful to see me. That's the kind of service that I prefer over the way too many new, overpriced fancy restaurants in town. It's low key, which I also prefer. The food is very good - my favorite is the mango tango roll.”

“This is my favorite coffee shop and bakery in Rutherford! Every dessert I get from there is delicious and unique. My favorite is the citrus olive oil cakes. The coffee flavors are also delicious. Great if you want coffee and a light breakfast/sweet treat”

“A coworker gifted me a box of vegan cupcakes and vegan cake truffles for my bday. They were sooo good! The best cake/frosting I’ve had in my life. I recommend the lemon lavender cupcake and the red velvet cake truffle. Will definitely take a trip from the city to visit.”

“I was here this past week and had some of the best Oreo ice cream that Ive had in a long time. On top of that the service was very good. My only complaint is that it’s 2024 and they still don’t accept debit card/apple pay . Regardless they get 5 stars & I would take this ice cream over the Dairy Queen down the block any day !!!”

“I just moved to the neighborhood and decided to try this amazing Korean- Chinese restaurant my friends told me about. I went ahead and ordered the following, fried pork dumplings, Tao chicken, Tao Beef, steamed veggies, and an order of fried rice and I have to say that all the dishes were finger licking delicious! One of the employees went out of his way to help me with my order. The place was super clean, the vive and the music was awesome too! “Came here on a Thursday night, there was no wait and we were seated immediately. We had the steak nachos, al pastor tacos and birria tacos. Everything was pretty good but the birria tacos could have used a little more seasoning. Portions were generous. There is a 3% convenience fee for credit cards. Street parking. ”

“An amazing take-out restaurant on Park Ave in Rutherford. The best dumplings in NJ! Also makes amazing Fried Wontons in the most delicious garlic sauce. Family run business - the husband and wife are the sweetest and accommodating on menu changes. Unfortunately there is no dine in service but that won't stop me from ordering once a month!!”

“Loved this restaurant!! The food was AMAZING, from the empanadas, to the mofongo, to the tres leches! We had a large table (9) and everyone absolutely loved their meal. The portions are big, which was great for the price. The ambiance was also great, as they played great music. They also put the birthday girl's picture on the menu he which I thought was such a nice touch. The service was as phenomenal, our waitress was patient and super sweet! I will definitely return soon. Restaurant is small, so I suggest making a reservation if it's more than 2 people.”

“The pork Mandu was great very authentic flavorable and well made. The Beef Ttukbaegi hits with a good amount of spice and flavor, giving you a good amount of protein and carbs. The final thing was the beef bao bun with was very good.”

“I came in around 6pm to ask about times and see the menu. I was helped by a very kind woman who provided me with a paper copy of the menu to review as I got ready for dinner. Upon arrival at dinner time, I was seated and attended. It was only one other pair in the restaurant (next to the bar) area. The place was pretty peaceful and had low music. The steak was a perfect medium well strip. It cut through like butter. I loved the texture. The mashed potatoes were so tasty and plentiful; it was topped with two baked home-made potato chips. The broccoli had minced garlic, which is not mentioned in the menu but, which transformed it from regular steamed broccoli to a tasty side. I will definitely be used that in my future recipes. I can't wait to return to this hotel and to this restaurant. I'm sure you can come have a bite even if you aren't staying at their equally as wonderful Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel.”

“Hello my foodies. I went here with my coworkers to celebrate our company Xmas dinner in Jan! Better late than never. My friend recommended this place and it was a good place. It's small, but well lit and very friendly atmosphere. The owners daughter was our host and server along with some other very nice staff. It was a Wednesday so it was very quiet in the restaurant. Probably one of their slower days, but we were fine without the crowds. Everything we ordered was great, except the pasta fagoli soup I had. It wasn't terrible, but the broth had no flavor. I still ate it, though, because my Dr. says to cut back on the salt anyway. It was still passable! Everything else was great, and they even let you BYOB, and they let us bring in a small cake. My friends wanted to re-do my birthday cake since the last place I went to was awful! I'll update you on that place in a moment! I had the penne vodka with chicken. I love penne vodka, but I find it hard to find a place that makes it good. This place made it very well. Delicious! I recommend this place as they have a great variety of items to choose from, true Italian style dishes. We had a wonderful time here. And it's not bad on your pocketbook either. If you're in the area, stop by and check it out. Parking is on the street. Meters are done by 7pm.”

“Paisano’s is amazing Italian food. I travel to NJ several times per year and I’ll easily go 2 or three times in a week if I can. The food is so consistently good that I can get the same dish months apart.I’ve always brought my own wine like others but now they have a drink menu as well. ($15 cork fee for BYO wine)I usually get the pear raviolis and if you love balsamic it’s perfect. For dinner the Oxtail Ragu is the perfect mix of homemade pasta, meat and a tasty burrata on top. I ordered it two nights in a row recently and I’d do it again if I was still there.The staff is professional and many of them have been working there for years. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ll be back as often as I can.”
