“There is absolutely no reason to go over the Hudson for one of those fancy, overpriced omakase experiences. Butterfish in Rutherford was a 15 out of 10.
JoJo took hospitality to another level, making our entire family feel so special... especially my daughter on her birthday.
And the food? Course after course, it just kept getting better. The name Butterfish couldn't be more fitting because every bite was so fresh it literally melted in your mouth!!

“I ordered a large pie with sausage and mushroom. The pie was cooked to perfection even with having to drive home 10 minutes before I could taste it. The dough was light and airy and cooked to well, The cheese was delicious, The sauce was tangy and just what you would want from a pizza sauce. The sausage was amazing and you could taste the fennel.

This is definitely a pie to remember. I have not had this good of pizza in a while and it was amazing that you could taste each ingredient with each bite. Great job I will be back.!”

The gyro meat is perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous, and everything tastes like it's made with care. “We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!”

The banana bread is my favorite but All of the different baked goods are to die for! Never had anything but excellent here. The owners and the baristas and ALL of the staff are friendly and truly provide the BEST service! If I lived in Rutherford I’d be here every day!”

“I stopped in for some pastries and ended up leaving with so much more than just something sweet. The macaroons were absolutely delicious, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. You can really tell they’re made with care.

What truly made my experience, though, was Renee. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and just radiated such positive energy. She had no idea I was having a really hard day, but her attitude genuinely lifted my spirits more than she probably realizes. It’s rare to come across someone who makes that kind of impact in such a simple interaction.

Between the amazing treats and the even better service, I’ll definitely be coming back.

“I enjoy the peaceful and calming atmosphere of this place, which is ideal for focusing on work. It's also a great spot for a coffee date. If you are allergic to dogs, this environment isn't suitable for you; I am allergic to them, which prevents me from coming back. But if you're not, I recommend you come by.”

“Materas’s really came through when i needed catering in a hurry due to an unexpected family emergency. I dropped in with zero notice and they were able to help me with feeding dozens of people within 30 minutes. The food was awesome as always. Kudos to Matera’s. Truly wonderful people.”

“We took a road trip today from Wilkes Barre, PA because we share the same last name and we’re so glad we did! It was a 2hr drive and it did not disappoint. The inside has very cool 70s vibes. We ordered a pizza and when they found out why we visited, they surprised us with a complimentary famous chicken parm. Only thing I would change is I wish they had more steamed food on their menu, it’s mostly fried. But it was all very good. And I wish they had assorted teas not just soda.”

I don't eat red meat or pork, so I stick to chicken and let me tell you I could eat the chicken kebab and saffron rice every single day of my life I swear!😋 The bread is Persian bread, I can't think of the name, but omg delish! We eat inside atleast twice a week, the restaurant is always clean and spotless, and Ellie is our usual server: she's truly the greatest! Friendly, Efficient and just the sweetest young woman to talk to. All of the young ladies that work there are super sweet. There's another Dunkin nearby that's closer to walk to, but I always go to this one because the barista that I see here almost always every day always makes the drinks consistently and perfectly, so it's worth going out of the way for.”

“this is a fast place to get good tasting Chinese food. They have a couple of tables. I ate here and the lady was very nice and cleaned up after me . It’s not a sit down place you have to order at the counter and then if you want to sit down or take it to go, you can do that. The food was very good. I was very impressed. “I had a craving for a spinach roll.I stumbled on this place. They had spinach rolls and meatball rolls. I ordered both. On delivery still piping hot. Freshly made cooked perfect. Just amount filling in both. Sauce for dipping was tasty as well. Definitely recommend.”

“Paisanos was local to the hotel i was staying at. It was a late dinner, so i ordered take out & for that reason i don't have much info on the atmosphere, drinks available, parking or seating.

The food however, was delicious & some of the best to-go portions I've had. You know usually when you get to-go portions, it's nothing like the portions you get when you dine-in.

I had the shrimp & broccoli fettuccine & ribeye sweet, dry rub steak, potatoes & veggies. So good, i recommend. 😋”
