“We hosted our daughter Sienna’s first birthday at The Little Play Cafe, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, Sabeen was absolutely amazing to work with. Her communication was great, she was incredibly accommodating, and she genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

The attention to detail was unmatched. Sabeen put so much thought and care into setting up for Sienna’s first birthday and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the entire party. You can tell how much pride she takes in the space and in making each celebration feel special and personalized.

The play cafe itself is absolutely pristine and beautiful. Every little detail is so thoughtfully designed, and the cleanliness and attention to detail are truly unmatched. All of the kids had an amazing time playing together, which made me so happy to see on such a special day. And as a bonus, they have great coffee, which the adults definitely appreciated! ☕

“Everything’s fine except you can’t walk by or enjoy sitting outside w out guys smoking cigarettes on a daily basis. It’s not a bar where that would be socially acceptable. I hope they work on that bc it’s not a good environment with the smoking.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“I have been going here for years and absolutely love it. Service is always fabulous but today I was blown away. I ordered for pick up and was pulled into a meeting, causing me to come get my iced drink and hot sandwich 1 hour later than I was supposed to, leaving the drink melted and the breakfast sandwich cold. When I got there, Pedro didnt hesitate to offer to remake everything fresh for me. In a day where everything wasnt going my way, this gesture from him meant a lot to me.“

“We went to the Tartinery Cafe at Columbus Circle for a quick bite before a 7 PM show at Lincoln Center. It was a perfect pre-theatre experience. Beautiful setting with great views of Central Park, great service, and delicious food at a nice price point. The open-face club sandwich (topped with brie) was nicely prepared and delicious. We will happily return.“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“Had a great experience at Lost Draft Coffee Shop in NYC! I ordered a latte and was really impressed with the flavor. It had a smooth, rich taste with just the right balance of espresso and oak milk, making it a really enjoyable drink from the first sip to the last. I got it with an extra shot and no additional flavors so I got a nice true taste of it all.

The shop has a great atmosphere and is a perfect spot to stop in for a quality coffee while exploring the city. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, and the latte definitely delivered.

“This was our first time eating at Tartinery. There are several items to choose from on the menu. I ordered the Roast Beef Tartine and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were absolutely delicious. The concrete countertops around the restaurant were a nice touch. The staff was incredibly friendly while also providing fast service. We will absolutely visit again when we are in New York.“

“Arrived early for a two-person reservation on a hot summer New York night, fresh off the excitement of the Knicks parade - we didn’t catch it but the energy was palpable.

Even though our table wasn’t ready (we were a full hour early after all), the hostess was kind enough to help us pick out a chenin blanc to enjoy inside before being seated outside.

While the burger was absolutely delicious, the highlight of the evening was our server, Hunter. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive and giving us space, allowing us to enjoy our conversation without interruption. Somehow, he always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment whenever we needed something.

“After a day of sightseeing in NYC, we decided to check out Hoboken for a quick bite. Found this place that looked pretty cheery inside. We ordered two chef bowls, bulgogi and the beef bowl. The beef was juicy, but a bit overcooked for my taste, but the rest of the bowl was very tasty! The Bulgogi bowl was outstanding! Meat was flavorful, but not overpowering like what bulgogi usually tends to be. Staff was very kind and inviting!“

“Tried the strawberry matcha latte at Matcha Cafe Maiko in NYC and absolutely loved it! 🍓🍵💚 The combination of sweet, fruity strawberry with the rich, earthy matcha was so refreshing and balanced. The drink was creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet.
