“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

“Came here recovering from jaw surgery and I got just the mame miso broth, while my girlfriend got the lunch special.

roughly $15 for ramen, a soda and an appetizer; she picked the chicken karaage, which I then had tiny bites of. The way it melted in my mouth made me want to cry at the table.

Then I tried my ramen broth, and it is so rich and earthy, with a hint of bitterness. It's like a good coffee or mexican mole.

I'm definitely coming here again when I can actually chew, because I got a taste of heaven here.“

“Tabetomo is by far the best ramen restaurant I’ve ever been to in New York! The restaurant is small, cozy, and very clean, and the servers were all friendly and welcoming. “this was my first time trying ramen and i loved it! i love that you can customize everything and get extra things on the side. i got the veggie ramen with extra scallions, garlic, and white rice. everything was delicious. i know they add some hot oil to it which was good but sometimes it was a bit spicy for me so i might not get that next time. i also didn't need extra scallions becuz it was a good amount in there.

i know this place is super authentic and a unique dining experience with the booths. i really like that. they don't do tips and only take card. i came around 4:30 on a tuesday and i got seated right away. everything was just wonderful. i would come back for sure.“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“No complaints about this place, it’s simply excellent. I’ve tried a lot of ramen places in this city over the years, and been to some of the highest rate of ones, and Kin Ramen has to be top 2. Some places have a single standout component, like the broth or noodles or pork, but not every component is amazing, but this place does everything just so well and I couldn’t find any flaws. The noodles are cooked well and chewy. The broth is flavorful and has depth to it. The meat is tender! Just a really solid bowl every which way.

We ordered the Kin Kara ramen and Shio Truffle ramen. Tbh I was a little dubious about the truffle because most places offer truffle and hit you over the head with it, but Kin keeps it restrained and more subtle. Just wow.

Service was so friendly and went above and beyond. Someone opened the door for us when we were 2 feet away! It was like walking into a nice hotel lol. And then the waiters inside were very prompt and efficient as well.

“Today I visited Kohoku Ku Ramen and ordered takoyaki and EBI ramen.
The food was really delicious. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a rich and flavorful sauce. The EBI ramen had a strong shrimp aroma, and the broth was rich and tasty.
I wasn’t feeling well today and had a stuffy nose, but the hot soup with a slightly spicy kick really helped clear my head. It felt so comforting and refreshing.
Overall, a great experience—definitely a place I would come back to!“

The food was tasty, professionally presented and Portion size was large with a price point that is never seen these days. Pricing is beyond reasonable. Classy, elegant, yet very comfortable!“

“We came in a party of five - two adults and three kids. We ordered one tsukemen, two ramen (deluxe and miso), one kid’s meal, and one fried chicken (karaage with Korean spicy sauce). All were delicious and filling. Anime is playing from a projector on the wall, which kept my boys occupied and quiet 😉. Staff were polite to us and the kids. “The only all vegan ramen restaurant I know and it’s a franchise of the famous Japanese ramen restaurant Ippudo. All of the their ramen are rich and flavorful. They also have sushi and sandwiches, appetizers besides ramen which are also great. My non-vegan family and friends love it too.“

“So I used to work in a ramen shop a while back and have tried several of the popular and some now closed ramen shops in NYC (like Ippudo, Ivan, Totto, Andante, Minca, Ichiran). However, Karazishi Botan is top-tier, if not the best ramen in NYC. This local gem always hits, be it unique takes on Tonkotsu, Tsukemen, or Tokyo-style Shoyu. Broth, noodles, and toppings all executed excellently and with great attention to detail. Their giant karaage and yuzu asahi draft also worth mentioning! They even gave my wife and I a rose when we stopped in on Valentine’s Day. Usually like to gate keep places like these but highly recommend visiting !“

“Overall a great experience! The menu is small but has some nice variety. The staff are friendly and helpful, and were happy to accomodate any of our requests and refilled our waters whenever we needed it. The food came out quite promptly and it was delicious. Very fresh and hot. My spicy tonkatsu ramen was actually spicy which made me happy. The pork was good, though it was a bit hard to eat such a large chunk of pork inside of a soup. The noodles had a very nice bite to them, and the broth was savory and brimming with flavor. It also came with half of a boiled egg. I wish they'd just give you the whole one because it was so good! (And would provide more protein.) The salted plum sprite was interesting, not my cup of tea but I can appreciate it. The sukiyaki soba was also delicious, two amazing things combined into one! The noodles were so flavorful thanks to the sauce, and you cant go wrong with sukiyaki, it almost tasted like beef gyuudon! The kaarage curry don looked like a good portion for the price, and I like that they disclosed it was a smaller portion, it is a nice option for someone who is not too hungry. The ramen and soba bowls are a pretty good size. They also had sauces and seasonings at the table which was nice, and were happy to provide a fork for people who did not know how to use chopsticks. The restaurant is also very well decorated and it made the experience all the more pleasant.The food was a bit pricey honestly but it did not disappoint!“
