“Very homey vibe, as the place is verrrry small. There are maybe 4 seats at the counter and then a small table. That’s it. You can see the kitchen working. I got the pork ramen, which was definitely a little bland. Presentation was great. The mushrooms were probably the tastiest part. I really admire the effort and cozy ambience though, and I imagine people normally come here for the bento dishes and grab takeout.“
“Anime and Asian Food might be a dream come true in Jersey City. The One Piece Art is what attracted me. Top 2 best Anime ever. Not a fan of Asian flavors but I wont be bias ? & let my wife review with me. When you walk in you have enough seats to sit down and the server come take care of you. For appetizer we had the steam gyoza. I didn't like it but my wife enjoyed it with the sauce. My wife had the Miso Chicken ramen. She gave it an 8.7/10. The perfect spiciness in the broth, egg was super delicious and noodles was perfectly cooked. She didn't rlly like the chicken. I had the chicken teriyaki with rice. I didnt like the chicken teriyaki at all but enjoyed the sauce of it with my rice yum. Wife thinks chicken teriyaki is tender and juicy. She also loved the sauce. I had a peach ice tea which was delicious“
“The ramen here. Is excellent. Every time we come to 99 ranch we pass by here for a bite. The service is fast and friendly. Prices aren't cheap but comparable to other places. They have a small eating area within the food court right next to the restaurant. Always enjoyable ramen!“
“Well, well, well Ani Ramen what do you have to say for yourself? Answer me or prepare to fight!! Alright then take this…I hope that it’s mostly good things and positive self talk because you served up some tastiness.Noods and tasty broth really came through on this frigid windswept Jersey City day. The boa buns were soft and savory with some juicy crispity chicken. The little sausages were alright crispy with a slap of bbq.The wait staff delivered the goods with prompt politeness. The atmosphere was chic from the lighting to the tabling.I 100% slurped my way to contentment. One helpful caveat. There be a 3% add on for the payment of the plastic variety, but it’s cool cause this gurl paid in greenbacks.Happy slurping my noodheads ?“
“Miso Ramen in Jersey City, while not clinching the top spot, proudly stands as the third-best in this culinary competitive town, a feat that is no small accomplishment. In a city teeming with ramen contenders, each vying for the title of the best, being number three is a testament to the quality and charm this place exudes. This ranking doesn't diminish its allure; rather, it highlights the rich tapestry of options available to the discerning ramen aficionado in Jersey City. To be third in such a distinguished lineup is akin to holding a bronze medal in an Olympic field of gastronomic giants. It speaks volumes about the dedication and skill behind each bowl served. The miso ramen here, a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, reflects the meticulous care taken in its preparation. Being number three doesn't mean compromise in quality or experience. On the contrary, it's a beacon for those who seek not just the popular choice, but a place that resonates with authenticity and passion. In the words of a culinary explorer like myself, sometimes the third-best spot is where you find the heart of a city's food scene. It's where the story isn't just about the food, but about the people, the atmosphere, and the unyielding commitment to a craft. In Jersey City, this miso ramen spot isn't just a number three; it's a destination with its own unique story, one that richly deserves to be told and savored.“
“This is my second time at Menya (Jersey City). Both times I had the Chicken Teriyaki Don. It is really good, I did notice the second time my dish had a lot more onions in it (didn’t even notice the onions the first time). Consistency can be an issue but nonetheless the food was delicious. The service is a little so so, as you order and have to go pick up your food once your number is called. The restaurant is very spacious and well kept. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.“
“What a difference a year makes!I came to Muteki about two weeks after they first opened and was extremely disappointed. I was fully prepared to write them off, but this past winter was cold, so I gave them another shot. I have been back at least 5 times since then, because they are delicious! This is the first Jersey ramen venue since the demise of Union Republic that is worth continuous patronage! The broths are delicious and the noodle quality is consistent and finally firm! There is a good variety for the exotics (black garlic is popular), but I also want to highlight a great selection of appetizers - some of the best bao and takoyaki I've had in a long time!“
