Finally, I have found a ramen shop in NYC that matches Tonchin. I'm surprised this place wasn't that busy on a Saturday night (and surprised it only had 800 reviews on Google). The XO Miso Ramen had a super savory broth and (somehow) savory vegetables. They cooked and infused some flavoring into the vegetables before adding it to the bowl (they could have served the veggies as a dish themselves). They tasted way better than the usual, almost raw veggies that get added to ramen....read full review
Amazing ramen. Ordered the Ton Toro Pork and loved it. I always look for a great broth and this one was luxuriant (and tasted like it was a couple steps away from gravy). Looking forward to coming back!

Definition of a 4 star ramen place. By no means is that bad! Really solid place and hit the spot. Small joint that was cool to visit. No real complaints, food was great, not amazing. Would come back honestly.
