“My best friend and I visited Susukino Ramen last night and it was honestly a 10/10 experience from start to finish. We decided to try their $29 dinner special, which includes your choice of ramen, sushi, and an appetizer — and it was absolutely worth it.
Everything came out fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. The ramen was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the portion size was perfect. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh and well-balanced, and you could tell care was put into the preparation. Even the appetizer exceeded expectations — nothing felt rushed or thrown together. Every dish was consistent and high quality.
The atmosphere really made the night even better. The restaurant felt cozy and warm but still spacious and comfortable. It wasn’t overcrowded or loud, which made it the perfect setting to relax, catch up, and enjoy a good meal. The lighting and overall vibe created such a welcoming environment — especially for sushi and ramen.
Service was smooth and attentive without being overwhelming. Overall, it was one of those dining experiences where everything just hits — food, vibe, value, and company. We’ll definitely be back soon and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dinner spot.“

“You can buy a pineapple pork bun (so fast with cash your friends are shocked) put it in your backpack and travel across three states, pull it out slightly squished at 3am, and it'll still taste so fabulous you won't want to brush your teeth so you can savor the taste for longer. Juicy, tender, sweet, savory, with a slight crunch. A bun of dreams.“

“For the busyness of the financial district this restaurant is your oasis of calm.
Music has a great vibe and the staff are wonderful.
We were so hungry I forgot to take pics.
I had spring rolls, tom yum soup and a spicy shrimp dish with veggies and peanuts.
Wine selection small but really good choices.“

“Food 3/5
Service 4.5/5
Ambience 3/5
Value 4/5
I really wanted to love Tiam Tiam because the presentation is pretty good, but the execution was a bit inconsistent. On the plus side, the hospitality is top-notch; we loved the complimentary Taiwanese kimchi and dessert, and the portion sizes are generous
Pork Belly over Rice (4.25/5): The standout! It was packed with flavor, though on the oily side
Soft Shell Crab (3.5/5): The crab was well-prepared, but the avocado pairing muted the flavor, making it a bit bland
Taiwanese Fried Chicken over Rice (3/5): This was surprisingly sweet for a savory entree, which others may like that
Century Old Egg Tofu (2/5): A miss for me, it was served cold and the sauce pairing didn’t really work
Great service and a lovely vibe overall“

“KYU is always a great experience. The ambiance is a great date night mood setter. Tonight wasn’t my first time at KYU. When visiting I’m always a fan of the Korean Fried Chicken, Fried Rice, and Cauliflower. However, tonight i added some new favorites. The Crispy Pork Guy, Pork Bao Buns, and Japanese Sweet Potato were the new kids on the block this go around. Let me tell you, you cannot go wrong with the sweet potato. By day the absolute best sweet potato dish I’ve ever tried at an establishment. When it comes to our waiter, Franciel was attentive and gave top notch services. He took time to explain drink options to me and was very knowledgeable on the best options for my liking. I forgot the drink i received but it was great lol…“

“Food was delicious and the hospitality was unmatched. Amazing service, you can tell a lot of care, love and passion is put into preparing your food. The kind lady was nice enough to even make a pair of toddler-friendly chopsticks for my 3 year old using a rubberband and a small paper block on the end of the chopsticks! My toddler was thrilled to use chopsticks to eat just like her mama 😂 We had the pork ramen with white broth, which they stew for hours for maximum flavor, and the spicy salmon sushi which was made fresh and was humongous! Also grabbed a rose lemonade which was soooo good. Highlyyyy recommend!“

“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“

Our drinks and desserts were equally outstanding. Most importantly, the management team and service staff provided us with impressive and exemplary hospitality and service. “Portions were generous, easily enough for more than one meal. The box leaned toward fried and saucy fast-casual comfort food. The fried chicken was crunchy, and the noodles were chewy—not soggy or oily. There was also a mix of greens and fresh tomato, which helped balance out the richness.“

“There’s nothing better than a bowl of hot, delicious malatang on a busy day, and this place delivers every single time. The soup is comforting and full of deep flavor, not greasy at all. The vegetable and meat options are fresh and diverse, so you never get bored. The service is fast and friendly, even during peak hours, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. I appreciate the consistent quality—every visit is just as good as the first. If you love malatang, you have to try this spot!“

“Best Szechuan restaurant in New York, hands down. The food was outstanding—bold, authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and every dish was packed with spice and depth. What made the experience even better was Andy, our waiter. He was friendly, attentive, fast, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food, great service, and definitely a place I’d come back to again. Highly recommend.“

“I’ve been ordering Chinese food here over the last year+ with no complaints! Everything has been delicious, fresh and staff is always kind. One time, my order was mixed up and I didn’t realize until I got home, they went above and beyond to make it right which was very much appreciated.
Tonight, I decided I’d give their sushi a try.. well, it’s all gone now but it was delicious !“
“The dried shrimp rolls are really delicious and super fresh! The breads and snacks have an old school taste and feel that reminds me of the wonderful snacks from my childhood. Very classic breads and zongzi that are great and affordable. There are a few tables for eating. The ladies here are also very nice and patient with me as I practice ordering in my rusty Cantonese. Definitely coming by whenever I'm in the neighborhood!!“

“Good food at a decent price. It’s a food cart so service is quick. They allow small modifications like removing a sauce or the salad. Only thing I can complain about is a small bone in the chicken at peak hours and a subpar workflow where if there’s a lot of people they’ll make 3-4 orders before anybody can get their food.“

“I’ve been to Star Sushi several times now, and every single visit has been great. The owner, Anthony, and his staff are always super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers — it’s the kind of place where they remember you and your favorites.
The fish is always fresh and the rolls are consistently delicious! My go to is the Star Tower. The amount of fish is very generous and it blends perfectly well with the rice, avocados, roe and sauces. It’s honestly one of the best sushi spots around, both for the food and the people!“

“Some of the best, if not the best, Chinese food I've ever had. SO GOOD! Definitely better than Woo Hop. Skip that line and go here. “So we’re back in NYC and immediately came to our favorite xiaolongbao restaurant. Unfortunately, the crab xiaolongboao didn’t have the same master chef level taste as a couple of years ago. Now the skin is a little thicker and sticking to chopsticks and no crab taste; sad to say: mamahoohoo.“

“Miss home, so searched up solid taiwanese spot. The pan-fried dumping 鍋貼 ("guo-tie") was exactly how I needed it to be. The popcorn chicken was not as salty as I thought and had a thicker coating than the other ones I have tried in other restaurants. Overall, I was very happy to have visited.
Coming back for the dumplings again.“

“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“
