Wok Wok Malaysian Cuisine Reviews
I am southeast asian (Cambodian), so I was very pleased to find this hidden gem in Chinatown on Mott St! The food is tasty and full of flavor, and the portion is great! I am very picky with my asian food, so when I say I approve, I approve! Come give it a try!!
The Waitress & Staff are nice & friendly. Food was good & the atmosphere is beautiful.
This is my 2nd time came for this week but my 1st there with another friend doesn’t like bcoz she said your Chicken Rice was so little meat on the plate.

Wok Wok Malaysian Cuisine is a small, unassuming restaurant located in Chinatown, known for its authentic Southeast Asian and Malaysian dishes. Despite its modest size, the restaurant offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, with welcoming staff attentive to customers' needs. Over time, it has gained popularity, partly thanks to social media, making it busier but still maintaining good service.
The menu features a variety of flavorful dishes, with many reviews highlighting the quality and taste. A standout dish is the white laksa, a curry egg noodles with shredded chicken, shrimp, and fish cake in a coconut milk-based soup, which many consider better than other places they've tried. The Penang White Curry Laksa is spicy, sweet, and savory, and is highly recommended. Other favorites include the Roti Murtabak, a flaky roti pancake filled with spiced minced chicken and egg, served with potato and chicken curry, and the Beef Satay with thick peanut sauce. The Ikan Bakar, grilled skate with sambal, is well roasted and flavorful, while the Rendang Beef Stew offers aromatic, slow-cooked beef in coconut milk, though some find it less flavorful or chewy.
Appetizers like the beef satay and Roti Canai are delicious, and the Thai-style spring rolls are fresh but more standard. For dessert, the Ais Kacang/ABC, a Malaysian-style Halo-Halo with beans, jellies, and shaved ice, is a tasty way to end the meal. Other popular dishes include Chicken Rice, Coconut Rice, and Kangkung.
Overall, Wok Wok Malaysian Cuisine is praised for its flavorful, generously portioned dishes, good prices, and friendly service, making it a recommended spot for authentic Malaysian food.
