“Long line because we are all basic tourists 😅 Left line cash only and right line you order on tablet and pay with card. You are welcome! The baked pork bun and pineapple pork buns were delicious. Sweet and salty soft and crunchy simultaneously. Your mouth will be pleasantly confused. Must try!“

“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“

“I recently visited Susokino Financial District and tried the Susukino ramen, and it was delicious! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making it a dish I’d happily order again. I’d definitely recommend it to others who appreciate a satisfying bowl of ramen. The overall price was reasonable, and the iced oolong tea was also fantastic — refreshing and a perfect match for the meal.“

“The noodles are amazing, and every dish is customizable. I love the scallion ginger, but I've had other flavors too. I ALWAYS get the seitan, it is so good! I think they make the seitan in house, there's something unique about the texture.“

“It is not often enough that great atmosphere and ambience pair together with great food, but this place has done just that.
Since their renovations last year the quality of everything from the plates to the whole interior design has improved. Not only that but the food is one of the best in the neighborhood.“

“We have been coming to Land Of Plenty for years. The food is always fresh, with the characteristics dishes of Szechuan cuisine. Service is attentive and efficient, and the owner is kind. My favorites are Dan Dan noodles, soup dumplings and braised fish fillet with peppercorn.“

“Sushi of Gari just delivers. I am glad that we have one in the UES neighborhood. I like the fact that the sushi isn't plain traditional, but also doesn't really go drastically experimental. The care that is put on each piece of the omakase progression is excellent and well thought out. Naturally Omakase in NY is not a cheap endeavor, but it is worth every dime for a special occasion. Also thanks for the surprise gesture for my wife's birthday!!“

“A classic take on Indian food. We started with the dahi kebabs, not really where the dahi was but it was a ghee roasted and pretty tasty! The saag paneer was AMAZING, one of the best saag paneer I’ve had in a while. The garlic naan was decent, I wish it had more garlic on it and was a little bigger. The paneer makhani was also a standard taste, nothing to write home about.
Service was friendly and ambiance is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart which I appreciate.“

“My Girlfriend and I went to this location for the cinnamon roll that went viral recently. Though looking through the menu, we decided to only get what we came for at the moment. Usually servers roll their eyes and are annoyed when a table skips the dinner and gets the dessert. Our server, the taller gentleman with the beard was super helpful and informative when asked some questions. Kudos to him for staying on top and being mindful of any possible food allergies. We didn’t feel rushed or treated differently for our relatively small order. Speaking of, the Cinnamon Roll lived up to the hype! So good ! We’re looking forward to coming back and having dinner here soon.“

“Miss home, so searched up solid taiwanese spot. The pan-fried dumping 鍋貼 ("guo-tie") was exactly how I needed it to be. The popcorn chicken was not as salty as I thought and had a thicker coating than the other ones I have tried in other restaurants. Overall, I was very happy to have visited.
Coming back for the dumplings again.“

“Found this place by chance after visiting sights in the area, and so glad we did. Had the pork soup dumplings and scallion pancakes -
The pancakes were delicious, crispy, and tender, but the soup dumplings were a revelation to me -
so delicious! Really wish we’d been hungry enough to try more dishes, but we were just having a quick early dinner before going back to our hotel to recharge a bit after a long day on our feet. This really hit the spot in terms of quick, delicious comfort food.
The service was super polite, friendly, and helpful; both servers were attentive and professional, and willing to explain what items were. We were also able charge our cellphones here, as the server kindly helped us find one of the several tables with power outlets next to them.
We were only visiting for a few days, but would definitely go back again and try more - great experience and all for a super reasonable price!“

“I tried their samosa chaat and chai, both of which were great. The prices were reasonable (6$ for samosa chaat with single samosa, 8$ for two samosas). Chai was 2$. They also have kashmiri chai. The service was great. Overall, great authentic Pakistani food.“

“This place gets a worse rep than it deserves.
I got the salmon teriyaki fried rice and it was tasty and the salmon was a quality cut. Cant ask for much more for $18 in this area of NYC.
The fried rice has good wok hei flavor. It is on the wet side, which I personally don't mind but I can see it being a turn off for some.
The teriyaki sauce was a little too sweet, appealing to commercial tastes (not that authentic).
Maybe don't go for the seafood fried rice and opt for a dish with a decent cut of protein to get your value for money.“

“Great BYOB, cash only spot for sushi. No reservations but didn't have any trouble getting a table around 630pm on a week night. Delicious sushi. The truffle sushi was very delicious and light. If you like truffle, it's worth a try. They let us sit there for a nice long time too which I really appreciated.“

“A Hidden Gem Near Pod Hotel
We stumbled upon this cozy spot near our hotel and had an early dinner. The place was quiet at first, perfect for conversation, but it filled up quickly by the time we left.
Service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed their Platinum Sake, while my boyfriend tried the Japanese IPA—both excellent choices.
For starters, we had pork gyoza, edamame, and uni croquette. Each dish was comforting and satisfying. For mains, I went with the veggie curry rice from their specials—light, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. My boyfriend had udon soup with shrimp and egg, adding a bit of chili oil for an extra kick.
This was one of the best meals we’ve had in NYC, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for such high-quality food. It brought back fond memories of Japan.“

“What a surprise on the upper east side! Was able to have a conversation without a big crowd, and had plenty of room at the bar before taking our table. Very welcoming and unassuming staff. The food was Asian inspired and imaginatively presented without sacrificing portion size. Recommend getting several dishes to share and get a taste of everything. Will be back!“
“We were in the city for 3 nights. I made reservations for the second and third nights. Left night one open. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

“Had never been before nor heard of before. Popped in for a small but special occasion celebration ( 3 people ). Everything, with the exception of the horrendous coat girls, was really great. The coat/hostess girls are unintelligible phantoms who mumble w scowls. However once we leave there pointless presence we are to the real start : the Sit-down and Dine.
The food was all great and we went in blind. We also had some great drinks overall throughout and a great waiter as well. Our only regret is not really trying any of the steamed fish, but we will likely be back. Note to Owners-86 those hottendous front coat staff“

“Absolutely amazing Cantonese food! Came here with my husband and my in laws on the first day of CNY and they did not disappoint. I was worried if there’ll be a wait since it’s a busy day in Chinatown but we were seated quickly. Friendly service and the food portion were just right. We finished everything without any leftover, just truly delicious. Order the triple treasure with chili & spicy salt and thank me later 😉“

“Alright, so picture this: I've gone through another hellish day, classes back to back from 9 am to 8 pm. Tired, I'm walking out of campus when I remember I need to get food for me and my roommate. Outta stuff to make at home, so something outside's gotta do it. Everywhere else is pretty much closed. In a hurry, I see this place and order something. Think to myself, "pretty sure this place closes at 9." Well, turns out, the place closes at 8! Silly me, I just came in, ordered something, and didn't remember the proper closing time. I was pretty tired and a wee stupid.
And yet, despite it all, they make my order. For that, I'm giving these BAMFs all the stars. They could have just kicked me out! But they didn't even mention the closing time until I realized. I apologized a bunch and thanked them after.
Now, I ain't telling y'all to rush to this place past the last minute. That was stupid of me. It's a dumb thing to do to any restaurant. But if this ain't NYC kindness, I dunno what is. Sorry for the trouble, I'll be sure to keep the time in mind next time.“
